All raw footage were recorded by me and then put together piece by piece in a transformative manner to create this video.

Ryan’s zombification was what Aiden’s was supposed to be like. Struggling every step of the way, battling with having to embrace being infected to save those you love and stop those who wish to destroy it all.
And although I liked the ending of Dying Light 2 more thanks to “New Beginning”, Ryan embraced being infected.
Reminds me of Kyle Crane.😭
@mavvynne444 In the ending where you beat the boss, you get a cutscene where kyle crane is wondering why kids are scared of him, and then realising he became a volatile, and embraces his new life.

I, and others judging by the comments, like to think the writers of this game saw how that plot thread was handled, took that idea, and went in a drastically different direction using what little time the story actually had.

They would have seen that as the utmost betrayal and probably killed you for it. When you didn’t leave, the guy simply asked their leader if she still wanted you dead.
When people see the villian who tried to kill them multiple times "hey what are you doing here" ....... Attack them idiots dont let them continue to scheme.

@@atomosvrial1708 they didn’t try to kill you mutiple times, they only dropped you into a zombie pit to activate your zombie potential and at the end of the game they didn’t try to kill you, they simply had a sniper trained on you until you gave your answer

I think the explanation from Dead island is lot more better than the autophage and the numens here.
They can't connect DI2 with DI1 because Techland split.

That being said, characters from the first game are in it, so I'm not entirely sure.
Deep Silver owns the IP of Dead Island, so they have the right to connect the stories, Sam B from the first appears as a character here, so there is already connecting factors. It just seems like Dambuster for whatever reason decided to retcon the origins of the zombies from the Kuru mutation to this autophage thing.
I like it better when it was unexplained like in 1st Dead Island they gave us 3 option's a biological weapon, super natural or natural virus. They left the players to interpet as they saw fit. Almost like Dead Island was never meant to have a sequel.
And as other commenter mention, this game Dead Island, is not even set in an island

It's amazing how she can talk so much, while explaining nothing, and when he's like "The fuck are you talking about, you crazy bitch?" she acts like he's stupid.
I mean, he probably is, but that doesn't mean she's making any kind of sense.
I have a small theory, I think the reason the girl with the headphones is always listening to music is so she can drown out most of the zombies thoughts while letting only the Neuman actually get through. Or maybe I’m dumb and missed something.

My guess is production time was already running it pretty close so they decided on a rushed cliffhanger in order to have the time to build up more of the story. I'm just hoping it isn't gonna come in an overpriced dlc.

I kinda question the story for the main characters in the game does only one of them survive the plane crash or do the other characters that weren't selected go elsewhere?
When the doctor leave for to go go another lab you can find pictures of the other characters in His office so i guess it indicates that hé made contact with them too

Well, judging by the animations and stuff. My best guess is that whoever you choose in the main one that survived the crash and makes it through everything. If you play multiplayer my best guess is that its not canon

It ends very abruptly and none of this is explained. I liked the mystery of the Numen but they didn’t really build on it at all and the ending is pretty unsatisfying
what story? this game has a bland story, survive a plane crash somehow, and immediately fight off zombies. Annoying Rich people and your character is immune... It's so amazing. Narratively, it flows better than dying light 2, but its world is very vanilla. It's not even on an island lol

A teenage black girl caught by surprise easily overcomes and defeats (then continues beating him) a grown white man enhanced by a virus. Later when they witness her dad's transformation she immediately shoots him despite the character behaving completely calm and not screaming with the sight of human flesh, then her first reaction is "dOnT tOuCh Me" when the guy tries to take her away from his transformed father. Also it's funny how the playable male characters all have backgrounds depicting them kinda trash (stripper, street hustler) except for the black dude and all the females got supposedly "exciting" stories (paralympian runner, derby racer and stuntwoman). Just complete woke trash poured over an average zombie apocalypse storyline. Sorry for the long comment.

Yeah he sort of reminded me of the hunter from dead space, Or a slasher but hunter mainly. But also.. He turned into a William Birkin version of a G virus lets be honest about that as well. the Developers had a chance to make something unique and instead we get a clone of Resident evil franchise and a dead space rip off.

well Id say considering Im also an avid gamer and had no idea it was coming out they failed in their marketing. Movie theater-goers and people who would be interested in day one purchasing this game are a very slim venn diagram, it seems like the marketing was all done by someone who has no clue how to market games rather than other entertainment products
@@simpleplanfan011 it kind of is, ads in movie theaters will never have the same kind of reach that ads on TV or even UA-cam will have. Whoever was in charge of their advertising focused way too much on a single media and never acquired ad space anywhere else
@@AbysmalRapture To be fair, that was one example. They were also doing ads on UA-cam and there were videos about the game all over social media. I couldn’t stop seeing them. It depends on your algorithm too, something that has even more of an effect on the ads you will see.
I absolutely just love the commentary though, just how they react and talk all the time and the constant passive aggressiveness and comedic reactions is just great.
I hope they make a dlc of the game soon

graphics are really good, dynamic gore/maiming mechanics are really good, combat is good (nothing ground breaking but fluid and fun), and the story is passable

Lol I got pissed by this too. But, what actually happens is that you can easily open the doors back open again after they shut you out so you can get the dropped weapon. I was relieved by that.

In the demo played back in 2015 and in the leaked alpha version, you can see it takes place in LA, even sometimes being able to see the Hollywood sign at a distance. I just think Techland might’ve had plans to spread the virus across the whole state, as opposed to it just being contained only within LA.

The word does exists in medicine and autophagy happens all the time in all living creatures bodies/cells where they actually isolated parts of them and degrade them as a form of "maintenance via recycling" so to speak, though there are other forms (more like reasons) of autophagy. Autophagy can also malfunction both ways of the fence and be part of the chain reaction causing several diseases, including cancer or diabete (type 2).

I see the developers went with the resident evil treatment for their zombies at least with the numen ones anyway. But also a little bit of dead space as well.
