May I ask how many hours you teach per week in order to earn so much? I understand that we need to do more than just teach, but it's still helpful to know how many hours are spent teaching in the classroom, though I know that depends on what each teacher chooses to charge for each class too.
@@rachelleardle_ thanks for your reply! I've taught art and American Sign Language classes in the past but haven't been on the site in quite a while. I need to get back on the bandwagon. I was looking for new inspiration and found your videos so thanks for the kick in the ass! :) Hope new mom life with twins is going well! (I heard you mention that in one of your vids!)
I’m new so the creating plus scheduling are SO much work. I only booked two weeks in advance but I need to try longer out. Any tips on explaining ongoing classes that I don sound repetitive? I use the same techniques like games, worksheets, songs but different levels so how do I name the ongoing description but not sound repetitive like they’re taking the same class?
I would write a description that talks about the level that you will be covering then add bullet points with what you will be using to go with that, worksheets, games, songs etc.
I have been a teacher on Outschool since 2020, I started my Outschool organisation in 2021. Both of which I am still doing. About 6 months ago I started working with Outschool as the Australian community manager and recently moved into their teacher recruitment department as head of recruitment for Aus. Hope that helps 😀
Did you spot my favourite animal in this weeks video?
Can't wait to see you over on Instagram instagram.com/_rachelleardle/

I love the scheduling tips. This is what I struggle most with!
It took me a bitt o find the right system that worked for me but it is so much easier now.
Very helpful! When’s your next one coming out? 😁
My next video will be out on Monday. I took a bit of a break as I am currently 29 weeks pregnant with twins but super excited to get back into UA-cam.
Great tips! Thank you for sharing your secrets! 😀
It is great that my tips are helpful to others!

So many things I wish I was told at the start.

In those months I was teaching anywhere between 25-45hrs per week.
@@rachelleardle_ wow. That's hardcore and inspiring! Props to you!
So what do you teach?! Did I miss that somewhere...?
I teach a bit of everything basic math, english, science, social clubs. The key is to find what you are passionate about.

@@rachelleardle_ thank you. Helped me clean up my long draft to bullet points. Much easier. 🙂
So actually you only got 70% of 50k ? Or was that after they took out the 30% fee?
That was after Outschools fees
Rachelle is not even a teacher. Her LinkedIn profile says she's a recruiter. Smh.
