You know what tribute band or not as long as you had a fun night out & it brought you back to your youth for a couple of hours then who gives a shit !!

This isn't the Grass Roots regardless of whether Rob Grill gave them his blessing. Anyone paying to see this cover band should know that ahead of time.
3 of the band members have been with them 40 years. Lead singer and bass player 15 years. As you know Rob Grill passed away. These members are fantastic. I was on the Flower Power cruise and saw the Grass Roots twice!
Barry you don’t know the name of most of their songs and you just use some of the lyrics to make up a title that is wrong lol. Thanks for the video, the Grassroots were pretty big in the late 60s and early 70s.
I would think any band traveling as "The Grass Roots" would for sure have Midnight Confessions in their set list...just very surprised these guys didn't play that song....maybe they did, and it's just not in this video...editing in...ok, they play it at the very end...just not marked in the video play separations...
I would watch these Grass Roots every chance I get! I was on Flower Power and they were fantastic! Three members are in this group for 40 years. Let this music live on!!!

@@rottiehaven1217 well, different story, with the BB... the official BB band, has Mike Love , original. They still tour probably 150+ shows per year, put out new music still, and really mix up their set lists. Yeah, they play the big 3-5 every show, but mix up the rest The split with some fans, is no Bun E Carlos, on drums. Yeah, he was a big presence. Personality. As long as they sound good, the audience don't really care. They came to hear the songs !!!

The boomers are grovin’ but not moving much. 😎
This is NOT the Grass Roots! Sounds good though, but this is a tribute band.
Hey they sound like the Grassroots. Rather listen to this than the fake crappy music produced today.
Are these 2 original members?
No
No originals
No original members whatsoever = not The Grass Roots.
THESE GUYS ARE NOT THE GRASS ROOTS, nice try though.
no original members... Tribute band.... ripping people off with this
Wow. That is so wrong. I don’t ever want to see tribute bands. Won’t go see the fake beach boys either because it’s not the real BB
