I hope there will be new pressurized twin produced soon since these old thins are getting pretty tired
Yeah, they need some attention 😂
I think the pressurised singles are probably mostly the future these days, beyond the King Air. Daher TBM, Piper Meridian, Pilatus PC-12, they're as fast or faster than a twin with cheaper running costs.
Maybe Diamond will make a Da-62 that has more power and pressurized but I’m sure they are worried about competing with single engine turboprops.

hahahhah. LMFAO. Our crew stayed in that rat hole for 1 night during the LBG Paris Air Show this year (2023). We did the only thing you can do - laugh! The girls were not super comfortable, but managed to get some rest!
Yeah, not always you get the best place to sleep.

Hi Konstantin, glad that you made it safely with the challenging flight. Noticed you weren't dressed up in your Pilot uniform. Are there certain flights were you can just wear regular street clothes? The vibration on takeoff seemed to be more than normal so glad it all worked out. Awesome idea to have dual cameras on landing with one on the field and one in the cockpit. Nice recovery from the Wind Shear which we could view well with the ground camera. How old was that aircraft?
You are right, no uniform this time. Actually i like wearing it :)
Yeah, wind was crazy, but the engine was good, no excessive vibration, it just wouldn’t produce enough power at higher altitudes like 10.000 feet +

Гарне питання. Вони проходять річне або 50 та 100 годинне обслуговування.

Переганяти старі літаки це завжди пригоди. Завжди ходиш по краю. Але Костя молодець, з лівим невеличка проблема, але пілот всьо провірив і впевнився шо можна взлітати. На крайній випадок якшо лівий глохне, на правому долетить до найближчого аеродрома. Веселого канєшно мало коли один глохне в повітрі, і тут є дуже багато різних процедур які пілот повинен знати і виконувати.

Heij Konstantin, you have such a crazy job with always new challenges. Love that, thank you for sharing. One question, you have that type rating for the plane, but do you have only this introductions on ground and then starting the first time with that specific airplane without an instructor? BR from Germany

Sorry for late reply - was busy flying. Yhis airplane does not require a type rating, neither endorsement. However if i have an owner or a pilot to show me how plane flies - i always take a chance :) But usually reading manual for 2-3 hours is enough + my overall experience ☺️
I see you have the "bang instrument with fist" procedure correct :) What became of the turbo? Was the wastegate broken open?
That helps a lot of times - knock the gauge 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Waste gate was stuck, yeah.
After landing remedy: Knocked on the waste gate, started it up again and gave it a good run, it opened. 👍🏿👌

taking off with a malfunctioning engine ( turbo system) is not a good idea at all...I'm surprised that you would do this.

The fuel system had to be designed by a non pilot engineer. Just wanted to f-k with the pilots.

Thanks, this is interesting, you are right, therefore i post it :) But 25 MP is quite ok, just if the engine has not turbocharger - you get the same :)
