- In which Subaru ends her stream, says she's going to read superchats, and then spends more than half an hour talking about movies. It kinda feels like she's jumping around a lot in this clip but that's because she really was just switching topics constantly. She's watched a ton of movies apparently.
(on the other hand I have seen exactly 1 of the movies mentioned in this clip)

Oh i love how she connected Green Lantern to Deadpool, shes a true connoisseur
Also, I love how she loves hollywood movies, a true westaboo ♥️
She prefers subs over dubs too, she's said in the past that most of her English ability comes from all the movies she's watched
@@torisubs4130 just like us who prefer subs when watching anime, she really Duck of cultures
I like to call eastern people who are into western stuff "Free-aboo"s.
Y'know, free sorta rhymes with weeb.
We somehow ended up watching Battleship. You know, the one based on the board game.
草
It was enjoyable with her though.
Oh god that one...
What's the title?
@@Meonium just "Battleship", known as Battleship 2012
Tfw you realized that narnia is the first isekai you’ve watched
Really admirable how she's geeking out like this.
"Hansel and Gretel? I watched that.
But, you watch that movie for Jeremy Renner, not because it's a fun movie.
Daaaayuuuuuum!
That was a really fun way to end the stream. Was really easy to follow the convo since it was mostly movie names and her impressions.
Also loved how she managed to speak so pasionately without spoiling anything to her viewers.
Truly a duck of culture.
Omg this woman is exploding with culture
Even Subaru prefers it subbed lol.
Subaru be like :
"Ok. Let's end the stream, But you know what............"
So true.
Also respect that her #1 recommendation is MI: Ghost Protocol, that one probably has the best opening of any MI film.
This man translated the stream in real time, and then uploaded a video translating the whole moment. What a bro.
"I normally don't watch dubs, I stick with subs instead"
Duck of culture!!
5:12 Eat your heart out, dub schmucks.
We need more subaru's movie reviews
When Hawkeye tv series come out, now we know which hololive member who gonna watch it with passion ~
Yo I'd pay good money to see a stream of Mio watching Alien lol
I want her to watch Hereditary
You know it's bad when it's taboo to mention said film overseas lol
Fast and Furious in Japan is WILDEDO SPEEDO lol
So basically, Wild Speed? Why not left it as it's...
@@Meonium ZA FASUTTO ANDO ZA FIURIUSU isn't a very catchy name tbf.
1:06 Wait, *what* is The Fate of the Furious called in Japan?!
*EDIT:* Whoops, misread the English name at first. My point still stands about the Japanese name, though.
No, that's the name of the 8th movie. It's a pun.
F8
@@claudiobizama5603 Blargh, can't read. I'm still confused by the name she actually said.
I think she said "Wild Speed: Ice Break"
The series overall is called Wild Speed, with that particular one being Wild Speed: Ice Break. A lot of films/books have unexpected names for the Japanese versions. The one in this clip I thought was the weirdest is probably War of the Worlds, which is called "Uchuu Sensou" (宇宙戦争) which translates literally as... Space War. Can't imagine a more generic sounding title than that
@@torisubs4130 Oh yes, I'm aware of that weirdness. It's not even just Japan, localised media titles can sometimes get pretty strange no matter what part of the world you look in. I guess "Wild Speed: Ice Break" just particularly caught me off guard for some reason.
