I originally fit since I’m strong enough to slam the lap bar to get all 3 clicks, but the last time I did that trick, it backfired on me since the restraint did not automatically lock once in motion and that granted me a walk of shame. Got ultra screwed on that one
Cool to see Candymonium is plus size friendly… Skyrush on the other hand is not due to it’s tight nature. Due to my build I was being crushed in the thighs countless times.
I do fit on those clam shell restraints without any concerns, can fit on Orion Diamondback at Kings Island in Mason Ohio. Can fit on Intimidator and Fury 325 at Carowinds in Charlotte NC, Leviathan, and Bethometh at Canada's Wonderland.
@@djm334wog Skyrush- you just FEEL like something is going wrong the way it YANKS you down. I’m a HUGE COASTER ENTHUSIAST- but I hate to admit it. Skyrush isn’t even on my top ten list. The restraints hurt SO BADLY. I only really ride it when I’m with friends who REALLY want to ride it!
@@thehippiethemeparkchick When I got off of Skyrush once my thighs were in some pain… Same thing happened after I got off of Sidewinder before the refurb and my back was hurting.
Hello, I do have a question about the restraints on Iron Gwazi comparing to Gringotts. I barely fit in the regular seat, same with the side car on Hagrids, is Iron Gwazi tighter or is Gringotts tighter?
Hi Vinnie! Thanks for reaching out! So- Iron Gwazi is an RMC coaster and they are notoriously small seats. If I had to compare the restraint system to either Hagrid’s or Gringotts- it’s closer to Gringotts. Because it does have an area where your legs are being held in the same way. I do have some test seat videos on my channel here at the hippie theme park chick for Iron Gwazi. I did one as did my brother so y’all will have a male perspective as well as female. At the time of filming, my brother weighed approximately 225 pounds. He was able to fit without any problem, I as well got a greenlight and was able to fit without any problem, and at that time I was 250 pounds. Also a tip for Iron Gwazi- the left side seats tend to be a little more roomy. Do you have a trip planned to BGT(Busch Gardens Tampa)?
@@vinniet2828 I have been speaking with Hersheypark, and they have invited me for their media event for wild cats revenge when it opens. I intend on going and checking out the test seat and even doing a video. I’m just hoping that they open it in mid June like they did the original wildcat, which was opened June 16 I believe like 100 years ago, I have a feeling that they are going to aim for that same date even though they have not confirmed this that would be a Friday. I’m hoping this is the case and then I will absolutely be there. Yes!!!! Skyrush is simply the most painful coaster ever. My thighs become pancakes. I usually get some bruises too!

Eak 16 side to size. My hips are my issue. My waist is less then 12 front/back but 50" wide hips and thighs are killing me at hershey
