as a Brit who moved to America 8 years ago, American accents just sound more casual to me in general & it’s kinda cute! but you guys pronounce & spell some things really weirdly lol & some of them still make me laugh when i hear them being pronounced 😂 love the podcast, thanks sm for always making us laugh!
@@sabrinal3809 just looked it up and realised that i’ve been saying migraine the American way without realising cause i leant the word in America 😂😭 but some other examples are lots of the words that end in “ary”; lots of Americans pronounce library as “li-berry” and i think all Americans pronounce military as “mili-terry”. we pronounce it as “li-bree” (2 syllables) and “mili-tree” (3 syllables) (both rhyme w “tree”) another example is just any word with an “r”; some accents roll the r more than others, but the way you guys roll your r’s just makes me laugh a little sometimes, it’s so cute! 😂
