We waited until he arrived to find out what we were having. I felt like my husband wanted a boy, Even though he said it did not matter so I figured it would definitely be the opposite. So when he come out the doctor said a baby boy with some big hands and feet.. So it was a surprise for everyone now that I think about it I can't believe we decided to wait lol
DEAD y’all 😂 Derrick- we have other big events like the World Cup, world equestrian games, national championships ect. The Olympics is the biggest but in between we have lots of world championships and big competitions in Europe. Katie every country competes as a team & 4 riders are selected for the team. Now i’m 4th in the US so if I stay consistent it can happen ☺️
Love you three-actually 5 (offscreen Thomas and Derek). Katie-praying you have a great labor and delivery! I just know it’s all going to hit Trey when he looks into Thomas’s eyes for the first time. 😍 NOTHING like it! Remember, if Trey feels like he has food poisoning after Thomas is born-that’s not it-it’s anxiety. I bet a whole new band of jokes will come from the whole experience. Thankful for you guys and the weekly belly laughs you provide.
Katie, oh my god... SO FUNNY. Baby animals, kids, and Easter happenings is a recipe for disaster. I have 26 first cousins, and at least half would usually get together for whatever holidays. And, some lucky kids would get a tiny farm animal. One year, one of the oldest cousins stepped on a loose baby chick and CRUNCH... SHRIEKS. Needless to say, there were A LOT of traumatized kids that day. Another time, and because tiny farm animals grow up to become potential delish meals, I saw my grandma "prepare" a chicken - from Easter past. Much later on, I realized that the rabbit pen that my uncle kept was where the Easter bunnies ended up, and probably multiplied, AND I ONCE SAW HIM "PREPARE" A RABBIT!! Man, that scarred me. And, no, rabbit does not taste just like chicken.
Watching this episode with a sleeping baby led to me turning the volume down numerous times during the vomiting discussion, due to the noise and my laughing! Loved the episode!

Hi another homeschooled horse person here, from Australia! Could help but giggle when Jake was sharing his horse knowledge - jockeys are riders that ride race horses, and equestrians do horse trials etc - it’s not gendered!

In the 80s the doctors told parents not to tell their children that their biological father was a donor and not the father who raised them. They thought no one would ever find out. Now, people are finding out. The person I know who this happened to, the donor was a med student as part of a med school donor program.
Omg that’s so funny about the new dog breed. I saw a post where someone was selling dalmadoodles. I’m assuming it was Dalmatian and poodle but some where all black and some were all brown. Didn’t look like a Dalmatian at all! 😂 So if someone could really make a furry Dalmatian dog that would be soooo cute!
What do you guys think about donation of embryos? My husband and I did a round of IVF that resulted in 14 embryos we had frozen. Our two children were both born from that batch and we are getting ready to thaw another for a third baby but think we will be done after 3. For sure not having them all! We have the option of donating the remaining embryos that could all potentially result in children genetically mine and my husband's. In our position, how would you feel about those children finding you in the future or meeting the kids you personally had? Also, with my firstborn I dreamt that it was a girl and we had a girl name picked out and ready to go. We were shocked to find out it was a boy! 💙
Re: baby gender I dreamed separately boy and girl. So my dreams didn't help. I had no real good gut feeling. I also dreamed my labor was 2 hrs and in reality it was 48 hrs 🙄
Okay here’s my sample: I had a dream of a baby girl years before I met my husband, but on our honeymoon I got a picture/vision (I promise I’m a normal person hahah) of 3 kids: a boy, then a girl, then a boy. We had a boy first, and now we are 5 months pregnant right now with our girl! So I guess vision > dream, hahah. Also, I take into account what was the first gender on each side of the family. For example, I was fairly certain we would have a boy first, since in my family there was a boy first, and in my husband’s family they had a boy first. I’ve found this to be the most “scientific” theory I have. 😁

I'm pregnant with my second baby rn and I dreamt legit every week leading up to our 20 week appt it was a girl, in great detail from her hair and eye color etc, and we get to the doctor's and it's a BOY lol
