Yes, definitely a lot better with just both Trey and Jake!! It's more enjoyable and trying to add another person just isn't the same funny conversations. Loved having just you two as it always has bee! Thinking of not watching more episodes if it was going to be all over the place. As someone who used to be a preschool teacher with the last 2 years slinging babies, you really want to CREATE a sleep schedule for them....for everyones sake. Or at the very least, TRY and create one. That way YOU will get more done, because "your time" will be more limited (for a long while) and needs even more structure to pull off the whole enchilada. If you aren't already good at creating a schedule for yourself, something your wife can get behind when the baby comes, get good at it. It will really help you both as you navigate your new parental duties. It will feel like utter heck when you begin, unless your baby is perfect and never has an issue, but in time you will all get the rhythm down and be pros before you know it. My best to you guys!!

Gotten me through a messy family situation, moving to a new city with virtually no friends there and searching for community in a hostile environment. It’s sad/funny/frustrating comedy gold out there on a daily basis. You’ll remember this comment in the next 5-7 years. Counting on Brad to hit that milestone first.

Years ago, prior to self-checkout, grocery delivery...etc., I was next in line at the grocery store checkout lane and the chatty male cashier in his 20s decided to congratulate the customer in front of me on her pregnancy, "How far along are you?" Her smile and her head dropped immediately. She bashfully replied, "I'm not pregnant." Internally, I was screaming from second-hand embarrassment and internally screaming at him for not knowing any better! Never ask that question🤰. This was also before shape wear was as popular as it is now. The cashier looked remorseful and whispered, "Oh. I'm sorry." Silence was birthed at that moment. Awkward, humiliating silence. That's how some people become introverts, I think. Anyway, thank God for these newer grocery shopping options. Team Curbside all the way. Quick, easy, no emotional scarring.
My son and his girlfriend went to the grocery store for her parents. They bought ground beef, spaghetti noodles, spaghetti seasoning and bread sticks. The lady at the register looked at their purchase and said, “Somebody’s having Taco Tuesday.” What? 😂 Somebody…just not them.
As a new parent, at least with one kid, it’s not as hard as I thought it was. It does totally change your life but you just have to make an effort to do things that you did before kids and you do those things less than normal
I had an extremely awkward experience with a cashier commenting on my purchase: I bought a pregnancy test at CVS and the girl goes, "Oh so are you hoping for a yes or...?" I just laughed and said "That's personal!" 😂 Like what am I supposed to say to that?? And why do CVS workers feel the need to comment the most? I had another guy say "Oh I'm guessing you or one of your roommates are sick?" Super creepy. If you work at CVS, you should definitely keep your mouth shut because that is literally where people buy their most embarrassing items. That's why I usually like the self-checkout there but it announces your total SO loudly so I can't win. 🙃
