R.I.P Patrick Aspbury (born 9 June 1993, died April 12, 2017) (The Blonde guy singing) You will allways be missed. You died so young. Now it really is "Tears in Heaven". I would know your name, " If I saw you in heaven". Hope your'e having a great time up in the heaven.
I'm shocked by reading this, I didn't know. I've been listening this song version since near it's release when I was just an passionate teen. Thanks Patrick for giving me Heaven with your singing, in this moment of astouding pain.
RIP Patrick Aspbury. I remember when I was just 9 when this video came out and my sister had committed suicide in August. I used to listen to this song and cry everyday. May his family be comforted in this time of grief.
I'm shocked by reading of Patrick's death now, I didn't know. I've been listening this song version since near it's release when I was just an passionate teen. After some time without hearing it, and in a time of quarantine and a broken heart for a beloved angel that I lost in a pain as I've never felt before in my 27 years, leading me to the depression for the first time, this version of the ChoirBoys suddenly came today to my head... to put meaning and strenght in my heart again like in the teenage times. And I've searched this meaning and strenght in so many songs, movies, art, people these days. Some helped, very little, but I stood in great pain still. This piece is more unique. More innocent. More real and connected. Specially more than Clapton's version. Time can break your heart and bend your knees! But we shall wait to encounter our love and dreams in Heaven. Then it's all going to be whole as it couldn't here. The precise birth of love in us is the creation of Heaven. Our souls create Heaven by loving. We know it and we feel it, but in the end we tend to forget it, and feel the emptiness. Let's not abandon the Heaven we created. Thanks Patrick for giving me Heaven with your singing. You will live in all of us.
We just lost our best friend his name is preacher. He was a good person. He took care of all of us but now it’s gone, but it’s OK. His memories are still inside of my heart. He’s still in my heart.
Heartbreaking- RIP Patrick- you all have amazing voices and such talent. I can’t listen to you without getting emotional. My sincere condolences to your family and friends.❤
I used to sing this song to my son, before his death, it was because I live here in america and can't be with him for almost 16 years...and it was the music that both of us cried on by phone...I love you son and I'm sure I will see you in heaven.
This was played at my best friend's funeral the other week. Went to sleep and never woke up. We're only 19. I miss you so so so much NillyWilly. I love you
Sadly, Patrick Aspbury, the young boy singing the solo here died tragically at age 23 on April 12, 2017. Patrick was a patient at the infamous Linden Centre, which is under scrutiny for having at least 10 patients who have died mysteriously by not getting proper treatment for depression. Patrick was hit and killed by a train in his hometown in Essex! Rest in Peace! You are singing with the angels now!
At least he left this world with some wonderful songs along with other 2 singers. I hope it wasn't bullying that caused his depression and schizophrenia
@@martinmayhew145 I do wonder how much abuse occurs within the choirs and if it was rampant back then like with the Methodist and Catholic churches around the world.
oh my gosh...you have to love the red chuck's. They are absolutely amazing, sure their voices will change eventually but maybe just maybe their mature voices will be amazing or even better as far as their range....talent like that is a gift and puberty won't just take it away.
Lost my dear wife to cancer in April 23, didn't know about Patrick's tragic death until a few days ago rest in peace Patrick, your music will live on your voice is beautiful , Let light popetial shine on you always
stop trashing innocent children remember that God sees children as innocent and pure... their voices are pleasing in the ears and doesnt irritate me at all. people who says they are gay are bitter and maybe you expereinced a bad childhood
The most beautiful song is this one right here ... How I first heard my heart pounding. I do not have words for it it's like a thousand angels flew to heaven. And I'm only eleven let.A my tears flow pres algae like mad. Thank you for this song. And once again I repeat: Beauty. Thank you. Even I can not sing that high.
After the Texas school shootings at Ross Elementary in Uvalde, I can’t help but weep terribly hearing this song. God bless the families of the fallen children. "But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.’" -Matthew 19:14
I don't know what to say.. I just feel like crying.. I feel something cold and I remember my past memories where some bring me joy, warmth and some are best memories I have moved on. I remember when my voice was this high.. Now, it's low as ever.. I use falsetto now to reach that tune.. But unlike my creaky falsetto voice, their soprano voice really tingles my arm hair.. What a great gift to them by God. Let us cherish all young singers! Thumbs up if you agree by this. :)))))..
When this song going into the headphones and close my eyes. I feel peace in my soul. All the mayor is suddenly gone and I really feel like in heaven. Thank you
Wow, those kids even remind me of the first-year students in Hogwarts... I can imagine them sitting on the stool, with the Sorting Hat on their head, yelling "GRYFFINDOR!" :))
for my best friend who live (likewise leave) a beautiful MARK in my history...thank you very much bro...your memory last forever...i will carry on our dream: to become a priest someday...pray for me

We went to Gloucester Cathedral yesterday, and the whole time I was there, I couldn't think of anything but this song. I wish you could've been here with me to see it, Justin. This song will always say the words I want to give you best. I can't wait to see you again someday. RIP Justin, I love you.

Marcos Henry Donovan Where "ANGLO Saxon" came from. During Roman occupation of Britain, known then as Britiania. Though still pagan, due to their occupation of Jewish lands, the word "angel" had already become part of their religious terminology. Later this would also prove to be the root word of "England" and "English". Doesn't excuse racism or "Aryan" philosophy, however.
Who disliked this video? its so beautiful! maybe they just got to sad :( but still beautiful! our middle school choir is doing the same one but in a different way; tenors and basses do doo's for the piano. so does the altos but they have some solos to. but this is just amazing!

The thing that made this song so powerful was that it was about Eric Clapton losing his son. You could hear the sadness in his voice. These guys are completely detached from it. It's like watching a 7 year old sing the blues. It's never real like when B.B. King does it.
+abrb1223 The above commenter is referring to the original singer and writer of this song Eric Clapton who wrote this after his son fell out of a window and passed away.
abrb1223 Hi! This song was written by Eric Clayton after he lost his 3 year old son Connor from an accidental fall out of a window of a high rise building in March of 1991. This song is obviously extremely emotional and especially when sung by a young choir boy. I have grandchildren and I can't begin to imagine the loss.
I heard this song during the time I graduated from high school and had a great expectation to the future. The song by Blonde guy singing inspired me deeply because I got passion for my brand new life, but now I am 24 years old, losing the passion, working for living, and missing the Time I belonged in 2014.

If I saw you in heaven

And carry on
'Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven
Would you hold my hand?
If I saw you in heaven
Would you help me stand?
If I saw you in heaven
I'll find my way
Through night and day
'Cause I know I just can't stay
Here in heaven
Time can bring you down
Time can bend your knees
Time can break your heart
Have you begging please
Begging please

There's peace, I'm sure
And I know there'll be no more
