Those fish were giants compared to the mice we caught on the Delta at the BBC. I didn’t take a photo because I didn’t want it to get out, I caught one bass on a small popper (Ricco) that was just about an eighth inch smaller than the Ricco. I didn’t realize he was on there until the second cast with the thing. Solid unstoppable micro-bass pattern. Good job on the lake.
Popper is usually a good bet for some decent fish too. Berry was a nice break from the Delta. A Delta video is coming out Sep 25th I actually got into a bunch of keeper bass and a couple decent ones.
lol. Understand. Billy Sackett. Slow and steady all day. First fish of the morning was the biggest for a long time( 2.25 smallie) then in the afternoon we kept leap frogging back n forth on who had the bf of the trip. Jay ended up at the end with a 4.86 lm…. But I’ll get him next time. We found a pile of fish in about 15feet of water and caught a bunch there..

Looks like you all had a great time. Berryessa is a fun like to fish and is close to home.
Berry is my favorite lake to fish. Always predictable.
Like I mentioned sat morning, love your berry videos. It was good to say hi at the dock.
Dang it I forgot to mention you said hi. I forgot to get your name. My brain wasn't running right all weekend. Haha. How did you guys do?

I was out on the same Saturday. Ned rig was the only action I was able to get bit on. Zero top water or cranking bite.
They definitely wanted it low and slow. I was going that that topwater bite was going also.
You guys lookin good
Thank you!
We had 74 to 72 temp
The fall is here!
WHAT DEPTH WAS THE BAIT IN??
It varied throughout the day. Anywhere from 5 foot to 30 sometimes 40. Bigger balls were deeper.
