I met Harvey Korman once when I was in high school in Los Angeles. In the San Fernando valley. We were at some school function play. I think his kids were involved. He was very tall and very nice and gracious. Shook everyone hand. Signed autographs etc. was very charming and funny. I was crazy about him because my parents watched the carol burnet show religiously. I had a crush. He didn’t disappoint.
This show was one of the things I miss most about television. We are starved for good, clean entertainment. Harvey was one of my favorites, but they were all brilliant. A lost art.
Watching wonderful clips from The Carol Burnette Show reminds me just how good television could be, and highlights the depths it's sunk to nowadays. I really miss this show.
Not one cuss word, not one offensive remark and yet a skit full of belly laughs. Thanks, Ms Burnett and all the wonderful people who wrote and guest starred on her show for your humour, talent and integrity.
God spare me. Name a network show at any point with 'cuss' words.. This morally superior prude nonsense in the remarks is ridiculous, I grew up with this show and love it but 70's wasn't the decade of prudes. Dear God ...
Joe Libby He did a few villain voices in animated movies when I was a kid, that is how I was introduced to him, he was hilarious! I have loved his voice since then.
Wow... I was cutting up salad and I heard the voice of the ever so great Vincent Price... So nice to be able to watch these unforgettable and timeless episodes!❗❗🙌🏼👍🏼😀🥰💖
Hilarious, laugh out loud sketch! Not only were Carol and the ensemble great comedic actors, but the writers were full of crazy ideas. I loved the Carol Burnett show then, and I still enjoy laughing along with the videos now.
Indeed, truthfully this is a lost art - pure comedy - complex in its simplicity getting Carol's talent amongst all the great actors talents, showcased from timing to facial expressions - fantastic writers, sets, costumes, etc. Thank you for posting & showing what is lacking in most comedy shows now, sadly it seems a lost art!
I remember growing up watching this show. I don't remember this skit at all, hilarious. I am thankful we can pull up these skits for much needed laughs.
no-one was funnier than "funt & mundane"! 😂 harvey's facial expressions & accent were the absolute BEST❕ these skits & the t.v. commercials slayed me❕❕
I remember Vincent Price first as a member of a television show called "The Hilarious House of Frightenstein" It was a bizarre comedy sketch show that was meant to be scary, but the results were funny. It was made in Hamilton Ontario for a local channel. When I was a kid, I had no idea of his history of being the evil genius in so many movies. On the show, he would recite poetry in a menacing manner that was also comedic. I don't recall if he ever participated in any of the sketches. When he voiced over the part in MJ's Thriller, it brought flashbacks to my childhood
This show never gets old I especially like the skit with Nora Desmond and the bed bug commercial I wish that would be uploaded I wish I could have seen Harvey Korman again I'm glad I did when he appeared in PA I hate to say it but soon Tim Conway will be with him I can't believe once a physically active actor and always making everyone laugh and now he can't speak or care for him self anymore I'd hoped he would have keep going but it's sad
Wow, i miss these kind of shows. Now all the shows we get are about crimes, narcissists, more crimes and gang bangers. The only shows i watch now are baking shows and discovery channel. All the rest are depressing that’s including the fake news media.
I love the irony that the very Snobbish actors in fact act out a very silly melodrama, and do so with little skill. This just makes the comedy funnier!
Always loved "Funt and Mundane".
The way Harvey Korman would "sheepishly" acknowledge the applause on his first entrance always cracked me up!

No one makes an entrance like Harvey😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂

Pat Wilson I feel the same as you do.
Yes.
agree
Watching wonderful clips from The Carol Burnette Show reminds me just how good television could be, and highlights the depths it's sunk to nowadays.
I really miss this show.
Harvey Korman could play the part of so many different characters!
Carol Burnett was very talented. She could leave an audience in stitches without resorting to crudity.
Mary Kennerley yes she could. I cannot tolerate vulgarity, so tired of it.
Seems like Hollywood doesn't realize how many viewers are tired of profanity and so-so comedy.
She is wonderful!
All the stars of this show were very good actors. They could all play any genre.
Ñ
I just love how Korman produces that classical theatrical accent. It’s so over the top it sounds really good.
Oh I love this one!! Really good acting and very very funny!! Love. The way Carol and Harvey talk like Rich people 🤣🤣🤣😂

Of course, we all know Vincent Price was a superb movie villain. But this shows how good he was at comedy too.
Joe Libby He did a few villain voices in animated movies when I was a kid, that is how I was introduced to him, he was hilarious! I have loved his voice since then.
His playing the role of an understudy is a joke in itself. Kind of like having the President waiting tables.
And this is why you should always be nice to the people who work for you.
Harvey is wonderfully over the top! Hahahahahahaahh
The television comedy variety show. Sigh.....long gone but missed
For someone who made a career out of scaring people, Vincent Price had a great flare for comedy.
he was hilarious as Egg Head on Batman.
Fuzzy Bunny Slippers My thoughts exactly!
@@stumack9755 He was great as Egghead!
He was in real life a person who love to play jokes!
Johanna Fuzzy Bunny Slippers ohhh Vincent price... I. Thought Hitchcock oops
Vinnie's face when he's hit with the club and the "BLAAAAAGGHHHH!!!" as he's thrown out the door gets me in stitches every time.
Wow... I was cutting up salad and I heard the voice of the ever so
great Vincent Price... So nice to be able to watch these unforgettable

Thomarch Subjents well said
Carol Burnett is the perfect show to watch during these trying times
Carol is: The Queen of Comedy. A Queen loved by the people. ~S
funny carol playing a character playing a character. she is a great actress
This was such a classic! Vincent Price was perfect doing comedy with them! I wish he had been one of the main actors for the show.
“THAT’S LEMON JUICE!” Lmao!
It was nice to see Vincent price again
Vincent Price! What an unexpected treat, I didn’t know he was in this!
I remember growing up watching this show. I don't remember this skit at all, hilarious. I am thankful we can pull up these skits for much needed laughs.
This is true comedy.
I'm glad I was born in an era where real acting and real comedy, i.e. talent, existed.📺📽
There's plenty of talent nowadays too.
there’s real talent today too, many people say there isn’t because they’re close minded to today’s talent
no-one was funnier than "funt & mundane"! 😂 harvey's facial expressions & accent were the absolute BEST❕ these skits & the t.v. commercials slayed me❕❕
peacock blue put them up there with The Family and Went With The Wind
I loved the Carol Burnett show!
What great acting What funny writers
So much amazing talent in that cast!
When you compare this to SNL reading the scripts as they do sketches... these are real professionals
Much better than SNL!
I don't usually like farce or slapstick but this is golden . Thanks for posting ❤❤❤
Harvey. One of a kind. 🏆
Come on darling, pucker up!🤣🤣
Love the costume s particularly Carol and Vicky ps love the physical comedy
Ahhhh... dear Vincent!
What a such hilarious sketch, everything syncronise and wonderful ending
It was such a great show.
Vicki and Vincent killed me! So funny!
Oh man, what a riot of a show!!! I cherish these videos! Brings back so many great family memories! 😀
Hilarious. Lawrence using the couch to incapacitate Burnette was too funny.
An all-time favorite!

5.40 I think we can call that window pain.
🤣

😂😂 What a brilliant sketch! I laughed as much as the old Morecambe and Wise show in the UK! Brilliant!
Pure comedy *BRILLIANCE!* 🤣❤
They don't write comedy like they used to.
it called slapstick = lame.
You literally knocked me off my feet, lol
After watching this, I will suspect every actor I work with now! 😆
Wonderful costumes!!!!
BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES ❣️ I LOVE HARVEY, TIM CONWAY, VICKY AND ALLLLLL CAROL BURNETT, THE GREATEST.😘
This is great comedy!!!!
Vincent Price was such a great comedic actor! I am so used to seeing him in dramatic roles--mostly as the villain!
Too much in so little time! Each dialogue is weighed in gold! To be taken one precious minute at a time!
Got to run spot light, when Vincent Price played in "Arsenic and Old Lace".
Which part did he play?
No matter how many times I've watched these skits I laugh my butt off.
Funt & Mundane, my favourite characters in the CBS.
@0:02 On the marquee, it says "Funt and Mundane," which is a takeoff of Lunt and Fontanne, a famous married couple who acted together in the theater.
Those wigs! 😂😂😂
LOVE me some Vincent Price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2018 & still top notch! KMSL! This is a skit that should be rebirth by nothing but the greatest performers!
Vincent's voice is so creepy and sweet.
What a golden age of talent.
At one time actors tried to become stars.
Today stars try to become actors.
Just hilarious!
This was hilarious 😆
One of the best shows ever! Thanks for the laughs and memories.
Lol when they started beating each other
Vincent Price was also an excellent cook.
Pure joy! I was convulsed with laughter!
Oh. Wow Vincent Price. What a Nice suprise🎉
WoW......Vincent Price!
If you're cocktail, high, or just a happy person who doesn't remember this HILARIOUS episode. You will die laughing! ☢ ☣ 👁🗨👁🗨🤣😂😅😘💝🧡💛💚💙💜💥
200th performanance? Lmao 😂
Hilarious!
The word "Brilliant" is too small and uninspired when describing this sketch!!! ❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
This is how my wife and I act.
7:45
So that's where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got that idea from in the movie mr. And mrs. Smith😆
I needed a good laugh today. Thanks. 🙏🤣🤣🤣😎
A great show!. Entertainment! Part of my early TV!
Who, indeed, could put a thumb down to this!? Obviously somebody with no sense of humor!
The best :)
A very hilarious show.
I didn't get those english accents, but I enjoyed the skit.
Watching it in December 2019
Wow, i miss these kind of shows. Now all the shows we get are about crimes, narcissists, more crimes and gang bangers. The only shows i watch now are baking shows and discovery channel. All the rest are depressing that’s including the fake news media.
Underlings. 😂
Vicky is a blast!
THATS LEMON JUICE 0_0
The Carol Burnett show was being the sofisticated 3 stooges

love Vincent Price!

Oh, dear. Some people will stop at nothing for a moment in the spotlight!
