I agree that you want the tram setting aligned but as you show in the video the spoil board is not flat. It seems to me that using the non-flat surface to tram the spindle will result in incorrect tram setting. What am I missing?

You might have missed the part where I said that you do a pre-tram before your surface and then do a final tram after your surface the spoil board
