thanks guys for producing all the content. I really enjoy your show and the fact that I have somewhere to go to just enjoy myself and be among like-minded people who just want to mock the entire world is nice. never stop doing the drunken peasants. I'll be here as long as you are.
This. Although it's too bad meeting each other and our ilk isn't so easy to do in person. If you're not in a place with a large population at least. :/
Step 1: Be a douchebag who talks about the same nonsense in every video. Step 2: Mysteriously get lots of subs. Step 3: Start a feud with someone. Never let that person present their argument directly to you. Step 4: Start a legal defense fund to "defend" yourself against your detractors. Step 5: Buy a nice fucking house.
I was referring to Ben's comment at around 2:04:014. It wasn't 60k but 44k here's the link: www.gofundme.com/r6uk5w2w it says its to "Fight Liberalism & UA-cam policies"
Does lifting my phone to check Pokemon Go count? Okay, I wasn't actually doing that, cause I wasn't at home. What I was actually doing was listening to it at work after we closed while I crushed boxes. Does that count?
Well I sometimes feel guilty that I fucking despise 99.5% of the global population but Shives is always there to remind me that my hatred is justified. He's got some uses at least :D
of course not, it was obviously an exaggeration for the sake of a joke. Steve is jsut so much dishonest garbage piled into one person, and unlike the Brett Keane, he isn't even remotely funny or entertaining, just frustratingly slimy
Just saw this in my recommendations... I haven't watched the Drunken Peasants in quite awhile, but now that you guys finally have DarkMatter2525 as a guest... well, now I know what I've got going on later tonight.
Awesome. Stopped into a waffle house for the first time and the conditions warranted even a DEC shutdown. However, the food came out as ordered, on clean plates, and on point. I'm still confused as to how they exist. The building we were in looked like a sanitary disaster, but the grill an utensils were good to go. I'd eat at one again. I hope that chain gets a revamp...they deserve it.
I have an interesting Waffle House story: As with every encounter I've had there, I was drunk, and with some friends. We needed somewhere to go after the clubs closed, so we went to the entertaining Waffle House on the other side of the interstate. This is a place in the country where you'll have a McDonald's, a gas station or two, and a Waffle House, on each side of the intersection with the interstate. Yeah, they're only 2,000 ft from each other. So we're at the good Waffle House, and there's only one cook and two waitresses having to deal with drunken assholes. I'm playing the jukebox, eatin me some hash browns, havin a good time. Our server was about 19, and looked obviously troubled by something, so of course her problems were eventually going to become the topic of discussion. It turns out that she just found out she's knocked up, and she broke up with her boyfriend earlier that day. She went through bouts of crying, and regaining her composure throughout the night. So yeah, we have that heavy shit workin on our buzz. The night goes on, we're almost done eating, and the power to the whole building goes out. A few people take the cue to run out on their bill, so they're gone. I, being the helpful neighborhood drunk guy, go searching through the building for the electric panel to turn the power back on. This was before smart phones, so I'm going around a place that has no emergency lighting with the glow from my flip phone screen. I find the panel, and the cook shows up from the dark without a light of his own. He opens it up, looks around, and turns the power back on. Then he tells me to get the hell out of there. I was like alright dude, fuck you, and went back to the table. That's not the best part, though. That's just normal Waffle House shit. So it seems before the electric was out, my sociopathic roommate who was regrettably with us, had a conversation with our server outside while they were both smoking. It turns out that he fucked her behind the dumpster, and gave her some money. In his delusional mind, he's a great guy who deserves praise for helping someone out. That's just one of the many messed up stories I have from being around that piece of shit.
I thought about writing an estimate of Brett's next reaction going 'No, I didn't wanna see that video TehJhai, because...' and then I realized I, a mere mortal cannot fathom thought-processes as self-embarrassing as the Manatee.
The reason the Sheriff put out that generalisation was a clever way to prove his point. The fact the host didn't say No immediately is a tacit admission that he's mentally open to the idea of all U.S. Cops being racist. Which is obviously a ludicrous proposition. Proving the Officer's point about the BLM rhetoric in the media.
Waffle House is fucking insane. I was a server at one. I had to take orders, wash dishes, bus tables, run the register, and clean the greasy floors. All of it by my fucking self. I worked with 4 different cooks, and only one of those was competent (who was god-damned cooking genius by the way). The food does usually taste good even if the cook isn't any good some fucking how. The one I worked at was a favorite for the local strippers at two in the morning.
shout out from an overnight server at steak n shake. I have to take tables, make the shakes, cash people out, wear a drive through headset, and mop the fucking floors.
I should clarify that I'm pro body-cam but I thought of some problems that are worth talking about: The first problem with body cameras on cops (from the perspective of a government official) is that now all accountability lies on the cop in every instance, and with the strictness of the law and police guidelines- if any given person can review the footage of their arrest with the assistance of a lawyer- you're nearly guaranteed to find SOMETHING that one cop did wrong a pretty big percentage of the time. Legal stuff might increase. So, to avoid being sued, you'll have to revamp the entire training program, and probably re-issue basic training for members of the force every few years. The cost of employing a single police officer is gonna go up dramatically until the new culture that improved training/constant monitoring will bring. Only costly in the beginning, but I'm not sure it's feasible in the current US economy. There's also a possibility that police under constant surveillance (at least while the concept is new) will be too self-aware to act with confidence and lead to even more mistakes (like when you double guess yourself on a test, but waaaaaay higher stakes). I don't have answers for these problems, and they ARE NOT reasons to get rid of body cams, I just think they're interesting points to bring up/talk about. thoughts?
Seriously great episode: good videos, non-cringey guest and story time was a solid end. Paul really should go out there and do stuff so he could report back to us more.
One of you guys should visit one of Strapon of Akkad's livestreams some day in the future. TJ could do it for sure, potencially expanding the viewerbase.
Am I the only person who thinks that identity politics wouldn't be such a big deal to these people if they had actual accomplishments to be proud of? I'm a woman, sure, but I more closely identify as a dentist, an artist, and a good friend to be around. I mean, I LIKE being a woman, but I don't consider it an important part of my identity.
I had to stop listening to DP while hunting because I would bust out laughing walking through the woods or sitting in my tree stand and fuck up my hunt
Finally DarkMatter2525 on DP. Last time I came this fast I was looking at a picture of Gail Chord Schuler.

This. Although it's too bad meeting each other and our ilk isn't so easy to do in person. If you're not in a place with a large population at least. :/
Arse licking, are we?
Watching this again in 2018. A great episode, capped by one of Paul's greatest stories. Gold.
Let me get this straight, Tommy's videos of fuck all nets him 200k subs? Fucking hell, i should start cashing in!
Also 60k from fans for a "legal defense fund"
Could i have a link to that?
Step 1: Be a douchebag who talks about the same nonsense in every video.
Step 2: Mysteriously get lots of subs.
Step 3: Start a feud with someone. Never let that person present their argument directly to you.
Step 4: Start a legal defense fund to "defend" yourself against your detractors.
Step 5: Buy a nice fucking house.
I was referring to Ben's comment at around 2:04:014. It wasn't 60k but 44k here's the link: www.gofundme.com/r6uk5w2w it says its to "Fight Liberalism & UA-cam policies"
This is the best how to get rich quick guide 2016.

Does lifting my phone to check Pokemon Go count? Okay, I wasn't actually doing that, cause I wasn't at home. What I was actually doing was listening to it at work after we closed while I crushed boxes. Does that count?
I'm glad I'm not the only one that listens to DP whilst working out.

Christopher Caldwell Huh, interesting.
Steve Shives is the only person who's ever made me ashamed to be human
damn! Not even the fem fucks, or Brett Keane?
Well I sometimes feel guilty that I fucking despise 99.5% of the global population but Shives is always there to remind me that my hatred is justified. He's got some uses at least :D
of course not, it was obviously an exaggeration for the sake of a joke.
Steve is jsut so much dishonest garbage piled into one person, and unlike the Brett Keane, he isn't even remotely funny or entertaining, just frustratingly slimy
I could never hate glorious saviour Chris-chan. After all, he brought the artistic masterpiece Sonichu to this world
DarkMatter is the man
DarkMatter was hilarious!! brilliant show guys, keep it up
I could honestly listen to Paul telling stories consistently for the rest of my life and not get bored.
this is the greatest podcast in human history
I now kinda want to see a collaboration between Darkmatter2525 and Syetenatheist.

I love how the conversation after all that witched to "If you were going in that house, how would you decide what stairway to walk up?"
About time Darkmatter was on, his stuff is amazing.
Dark matter is an amazing guest. I love his channel. He has amazing/ Original material. Also, him talking about laughing while bench pressing LOL!
Holy shit. Anyway one realize gman is actually older than Brett?
Demn....
Isn't Brett like 60
+George A. He's in his 30s.
+White Fire Jesus, he has not aged well.

Holy shit, Darkmatter finally made it on AND they did a Story Time with Paul? Episode of the week, there
So psyched for story time with Paul!! Thanks, guys.
More DarkMatter2525 he was fantastic!
I wonder if people will make a hastag for the journalists actually being imprisoned in Turkey? I doubt it.
Haven't even heard of it :(
Of course not. All of the journalists who'd be reporting on it are in jail.
I mean I don't hear any media on our end talking about it like they did the coup attempt
Wesley Darnell That was a joke.
+Jay Grey I haven't even heard of it lol
Hell yeah! DP BROS! Pump your fists!
Just saw this in my recommendations... I haven't watched the Drunken Peasants in quite awhile, but now that you guys finally have DarkMatter2525 as a guest... well, now I know what I've got going on later tonight.
I love Paul's analysis of human interaction, especially with T.J. just getting a drink behind the counter.
I get giddy every time you guys do story time with Paul.

Wow, what a shit day to have to go to work.
Its about god damn time they got DarkMatter on
Damn the return of story time with Paul was epic.
It took me 3 days to finish this video. Now I get why Shives is all up in his feels in his latest video.
Only reached the third day of a seven day cringe
You guys need to get filthy frank on, that'd be hilarious
No I don't want him to taint this podcast.
The world is not ready for such madness.
No he's cancer 😑
papa franku is life
no, he'd roast them and just no
There should be a declaimer on the show that says 'Do not workout or engage in intense physical activity while watching or listening to this.'
You guys were really nice to DarkMatter lol. Most people should express their fear beforehand :)
THE EGGHEAD SHOW!
I thought about writing an estimate of Brett's next reaction going 'No, I didn't wanna see that video TehJhai, because...' and then I realized I, a mere mortal cannot fathom thought-processes as self-embarrassing as the Manatee.
DarkMatter was an awesome guest!
the indivijul brett keane situationnnn
My dreams have come true. Thank you.
One of the best shows i have seen so far, darkmatter was an awesome fucking guest, the banter was brilliant.
The reason the Sheriff put out that generalisation was a clever way to prove his point.

I was in Albuquerque only a few weeks ago, should have waited!

The last two shows were great!
That intro is legendary
my favourite story time with paul
I should clarify that I'm pro body-cam but I thought of some problems that are worth talking about:
The first problem with body cameras on cops (from the perspective of
a government official) is that now all accountability lies on the cop
in every instance, and with the strictness of the law and police

with the assistance of a lawyer- you're nearly guaranteed to find
SOMETHING that one cop did wrong a pretty big percentage of the time. Legal stuff might increase.

When my brother was diagnosed hiv he said "are you HIV positive?"
Bring BeyondPhere back on the show
Agreed. Everyone needs more Mounds.
Story time with Paul is the best.
2:08:48 You go up whichever SpongeBob decides is the stairs of learning.
That intro is killer!😛😜😛➿➿😲😲😲🎽🎽😮😮😮🗼🗼🐸🐸🐸❌❌💦💦💦🚫🚫↗↗↗
Oh ,and dark matter can branch out to other topics so I dont have to deal with religion anymore.Im so totally over it but love his toons!
+gary h Oh good, later into it he said hes goin political!ariht!
My favorite segment is the ZipRecruiter segment.
Steve Shives is the paradox of tolerance.
The more I watch DP and The AMA, I think TJ is a grown version of Eric Cartman.
I had to stop listening to DP while hunting because I would bust out laughing walking through the woods or sitting in my tree stand and fuck up my hunt
Story time with Paul was the best part
Steve Shives is great.
"If you want to live in a free society, then you can't allow people to be free."
Feminism really has melted his brain.
i honestly died at the tobacco part
