This song have a sad story behind, a highscool friend of Corey was diagnosed with cancer phase 4, and she ask Korey for an advice because she felt alone and scared about her future and probably die, so korey told her that she could try pray and tell God about how she felt, her fears and loneliness and 2 weeks later she call korey and told her that she talked with God and later in the shower she felt a peace sensation and hope, and she felt that someone took her by the hands and she raised her hands feeling the company of God, and saddly two months later she passed away

THIS ALBUM LITERALLY CRUSHED MY EXPECTATIONS
so good!!!
Well it exceeded MY expectations by polevaulting, then slammed it to the dirt with a brutal elbow drop.
I kept my expectations low. I feel fairly pleased with the result.

I automatically click on song and like it and the listen to it, because I haven't heard a song of Skillet's I didnt like. So, I know I'll love it. I have anxiety/panic attacks and certain music like this helps me. I talk to God every single day, sometimes several times a day, He is the only one who understands me.
I totally get it. I used to get nightmares pretty much every night and that made me super paranoid and untrusting. It is nice to know that there is someone who will never betray you regardless of the situation.
I Just wanted to say how much their music has helped me , I have just lost my husband this thanksgiving.God bless

The instrumental in this song is godly.
The solo section sounds so much like Fight The Fury, which makes sense as this came out less than a year after that.
This album is pretty good. Its not the same kind of songs like some albums that have come out recently there is a great mixture of heavy and melodic along with just different sounds that wouldnt always be expected. Great job on the album
it has a nice diverse of styles, heard some comatose type songs and awake and alive and one that sounded like a rise album song I love it

The beginning of this song brings me back to my surgery when I had abandoned God. I was so mad at him. I wish I would have heard these songs before. I realized now God just wanted to see how loyal I was to him. Thank God that I turned around and accepted him into my life. Now I know that God is always with me. Skillet, thanks

I'm hesitant to say anything too definitively due to it being new and all, but this very well might be the best full Skillet album of all time. Most of their albums have great songs, but then a few filler songs that I rarely listen to. This album is just one awesome tune after another the whole way through. Great stuff.

Not gonna lie, the first three seconds are probably my favorite part of the whole song. It just sounds, scary. Like- the noises of something incomprehensible, yet almost natural. And then that horrifying scream from John, really puts you into the mood of the song.
Furthermore, the whole chorus is John talking about being alone; unable to see and helpless. Where could he be? In a black void. That’s the exact place that a sound like the first three seconds could be made.
i’ve been a fan for 5 years and this is definitely the best album so far in my opinion. this is fire !!
Personally I prefer Unleashed but this is really good too

This song is almost a trip through time for me. With the guitar in the beginning and the solo giving me a really 80's and 70's vibe and the singing feeling alot like their early 2000's and newer stuff. Truly an amazing and well done song. Props to skillet.
