I put it on my wood dining room table. Wish I had seen video before I used it. I ruined my table with horrible steam marks. I do love it tho. Works amazing with appliqué
Very interesting, thank you. Also great tip about the steam iron as we all like to steam our seams most times. Think I will still get one tho...hahaha.....
I have rolled them - a very loose roll and they are fine. If they keep the roll, I would think you could flip them so it held them open when unrolled and you could press it and warm it to bring back it's shape.
How do you get rid of “the being on the farm aroma?” I did use steam on it, unfortunately and my sewing room smells awful! I will only use dry iron going forward.
@@marjoriealfieri6205 I still have the smell but it is less. The more you use it, the better it goes. Indeed it smells awfull when using steam. I try to avoid that...
@@sunflowerbaby1853 It just did a minute when you steam your fabric on the wool mat. But the smell fades away .. now I don't steam but only use a hot iron.

Works so much better to flatten seams than an ironing board.
yesssss. I love my wool mat!

thank u about the dry ironing info.
I love mine as well. I found out that one can’t use these on top of cutting mats as they warp the cutting mat..just an fyi..
Hello how we can get larger one
Can they be rolled up for storage? Or will they get misshapen?

Use wool or cotton iron setting, or does it matter?
I got a 100% wool mat from New Zealand and they say that you CAN use steam. Is there a reason that you were told not to use steam?
Does your wool mat smell when ironing on it? Mine smells like sheaps on a farm.

Does it smell of the wool transferred to your fabric?

Thanks. I just didn't want my quilt blocks to smell like sheep. Thank you so much for your information and have a great day.
How do you clean the wool mat?
Denise Filipe I saw another video that said you can wash it normally and then just hang to dry
Denise Filipe don’t throw it in machine, just rise under tap or swish in tub and dry flat or on side...do not wring or roll or fold
