I’ve had a few Drz400’s. Fantastic bikes. Bulletproof. The only negative I can say is that they can fool you. I rode one for years and thought I just wasn’t good enough to do single track and the harder wood lines. I just had the wrong bike for that. But it’s a trade off because the bikes I can do that with now could NEVER do what the Drz400 does at its best. The Dizzer is one of my favorite bikes of all time and I’d recommend one to almost anyone.
I'm picking up a 2020 DRz tomorrow. I've been riding Husky and KTM enduros for a long time, now pushing 60, I'm moving to light ADV. With a few mods the DRz should be great for exploring and BDR type riding here in the Northeast. Plus it's a capable enough bike to ride single track if the spirit moves me. The DRz I'm buying has a few mods done to it already, I have to get here and find out what I need for it before I order anything, but I do have the Tusk Traverse panniers and duffle bag for it. Thanks for the tips and ideas 👍
@@DriftlessMoto Its been damn good so far, but winter hit here in the northeast, which means riding has been limited. I have managed to ride it in just about every kind of terrain from road to gnarly single track, its capable & fun doing it all. I also got it setup and accessorized to how I feel it'll work best for me.

I agree that the DRZ is a fantastic bike. It really is the jack of all trades bike and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a dual sport.
I would agree with you on the seat concepts seat , stupidly expensive here in Canada but it made a huge difference on my DRZ SM
It's is expensive, but we'll worth the investment imo. Unfortunately I have to ride 2 hours to the nearest trail so it's a life saver!

Sorry. My mistake Mr. Drift.
Yo Mike. JNS don't ship to Ireland((
Are you running stock spring rates in the forks and shock? Thanks in advance…
Ya I'm running stock suspension. Been debating on upgrading it though.
@@DriftlessMoto thanks for responding!
