When I was stll working we frequent the place for their fried bakasi and tinowang bakasi. The local folks are of the belief that bakasi has this aphrodisiac element in it. If I'm not mistaken, the place is called Cambuagsong. It's in the southernmost portion of Cordova.

US Supermarket (Chinese grocery store), Elmhurst, Queens, NYC, mas dagko ang bakasi baligya diri. Duna pa buhing bao (turtle) ug buhing baki (frog) baligya. Buhing buaya ug bitin nalang ang wala diri. Ang mokaon ug bitin o buaya, motaas inyo kinabuhi. Kaon pa more.

now so you know there are many things I would not even try putting in my mouth. However I have eaten eel . Just not that kind and the kind I did have had no bones . I should also say the eel I have caught and ate were a lot bigger . I would hammer a nail in the eels head then skin it gut it out then cut it in half the long way then cut 3 inch long all the way down. fry it up in a pan when the ell stops moving it is done.
