Arise 2023: White Lies by Heather Glabe

White Lies shows how a persons' individuality is often stifled or censored by dominant groups. While the group can be compelling and beautiful, breaking free is an act of resistance and courage. The dance begins with a solo for Gaby Pastor. The cast acts as observers who ultimately interfere with her ability to be free.
White Lies muestra cómo la individualidad de una persona a menudo es sofocada o censurada por grupos dominantes. Si bien el grupo puede ser convincente y hermoso, liberarse es un acto de resistencia y coraje. El baile comienza con un solo para Gaby Pastor. El elenco actúa como observadores que interfieren con su capacidad de ser libre.
