Hi Darren, Some very helpful and original tips. It’s been a while since I fired up the 3D printer so I better get cracking so I can end up with a few spools for my extension cords. Thank you for sharing. Cheers 👍😎🇦🇺
I have been looking for a use for used 3D printer filament reels. Sadly, my extension cord (never felt the need for more than one) is already on a reel with a winder to wind in in. But your idea for using it to store rope could be a winner...
Hey Darren, you do realise that there are a lot of Aussie UA-cam channels out there doing woodworking yeah ? Many of them give fantastic tips & I encourage you to join in with our family of DownUnder makers. See ya mate

Thanks John
Cool tip with doubling the extension cord over then rolling it on the reel.
Thank you, Have a great day.
Good to see you’re back, I thought the hot weather had kept you out off the workshop!
Hi Peter, you are right, the hot weather and general life stuff. It’s good to be back.
