MC STAN is a very unique and experimental entry in South Asian hiphop with both his music production and style. The only comparison that I can draw from international scene for him would probably be JPEGMAFIA, Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti

Even tho MC Stan is experimental, he's nowhere near the level of the likes of someone like Danny Brown or jpegmafia imo. He's experimental but he ain't good experimental, he's experimental just for the sake of being experimental imo. The level lf lyricism and delivery of artists like them is far, far superior to MC Stan. You can't draw comparisons to any American experimental hip hop artists in MC Stan's case, he just started the genre in India on a full scale. He's nowhere nearly as good as American ones imo. Also because Indian hip hop got a head start when it comes to expt hip hop because of the already existing developed high-level experimental hip hop in USA, which had to start from scratch in their journey from all the way from de la soul, outkast, kanye west etc.

I am from pune and what he is doing was not on these streets But he made those streets into hip hop City has two sides, one is about education and big companies and other one is politics which is mostly on streets And because of that streets never turn something creative like mumbai streets which was made because dancers and hip hop artists Stan is first one to come out and do something way different to represent his street and make whole city change I hope more artists from pune comes out
