- In the third episode of “The Bright Side,” we meet Terence Lester. At 16, Terence lived on the street in Atlanta, and in his twenties, he founded Love Beyond Walls, a nonprofit to affirm the dignity of the unsheltered by giving them a voice and a community. “My experiences with homelessness resulted in my life’s calling,” he told me. When COVID-19 struck Atlanta, Terence says: “We kept hearing from our community members, ‘I'm supposed to wash my hands, but how am I supposed to wash my hands when everything is closed?’” Terence came up with a brilliant idea to help save lives. Watch above. His story inspired my friends at @ally and me so much that we made a donation to help out his cause. 💜 #thebrightside
