one of the best DJ set intros I've ever seen. if you pay close attention to the first 90 seconds, he's mixing 3 tracks so seamlessly (2 ambient, 1 techno). Faki is a living techno legend.
This is not about how many times the DJ touch the knobs or how the people is dancing. This is about the journey the DJ wants to tell with the music. It goes more beyond listening it, there is character and intention in this music.

best thing after a really hard days work, laying on my bed, cup of tea on the side, and listening to this fantastic set by the one and only MR LEN FAKI brilliant!!!!
Around 1:14:00 there are three dancers to Faki's left (girl, guy with checked shirt, guy with glasses and sleeveless shirt). They're immersed in the energy and they dance "socially", meaning that they make sure not to bother anyone else by allowing for enough space so that everyone can have a good time. Then on Faki's right there's whistle guy, oblivious to the fact that he's constantly bumping in to people, interrupting their dancing and enjoyment to some degree. Unfortunately, guy with longsleave is his victim. If you ever decide to go to an event and space is limited, please do us all a favour and don't be **that guy** (or girl).
The dude with the glasses on Faki's right at 1:14:00 is Lewis Fautzi whose track ' Range' was played by Faki right then. He's probably drunk, he can't contain his excitement since LEN FAKI decided to make that track a part of his set and he just wanted his people around him when the beat dropped. Everyone's on some shit, nobody gives two shits about bumping into each other at these events (that includes YOU). Thats the least you could expect at a packed boiler room set. Relax P. The fact that you had the time to type all of this bothered me so I had to reply in a similar fashion. Read a book.Go spread some love.
S R It really depends dude, if you're in Berlin this doesn't happen too often, when it does happen it happens once and the person usually realises. In other cities in the world they let territorial people in who are a pain when their drunk. The crowd is so important for clubs like these
Funny enough, I releases Len's first tracks for him when he was working with Jost Gerischer on a techno label called Ipcress Communications I had back in 1995/96. He also did a great few house tunes for another label I had called Bomb Records. Really nice guys the pair of them.
This set has the power to make you feel high on music alone- if you don't like Techno after this set, there is something wrong! - I've had it on repeat all night , I can't get enough!
Geeez, i forgot how good he is. I remember Len from back in the days, late 90ties, prior his move to Berlin when he used to have long black hair as an A&R at UCMG. His sound back then was already innovative with his monoid label. He`s really made himself huge over the years - One of Germany`s best in quality techno.
I have partied in remote with boiler room several times, but never before have I regretted not being physically present. I say this in appreciation of the great dj set as well as with the tragic realization of never knowing the wonderful lady dancing left of the dj for the early half hour of the set.

I love the guy's reaction at 1:14:40 left of Len. He got truly hit by the beat and was amazed, just the way most clubs in Berlin are!! Damn, living in Berlin have been the most amazing 6 months of my life. This kind of music 3/4 times a week.

sometimes the dj set is so far removed from the crowd, it looks like the Pope is in town and punters are there to receive a blessing. The BoilerRoom set up is ideal. Crowds all up in the DJ's grille. Sometimes the DJ has to get annoyed, I'm sure, from the loss of personal space, but anyway it's better this way IMO. perfect fusion of DJ and crowd, united under techno.
yeah some people having a few disco biscuits that eve. Gotta love it when its just a sea of gurning, human traffic like characters all morphing and doing different shapes hah So much better than the parties where a lot of people just are trying to look cool and stylish and noones letting go of that ego and fully becoming one with themselves and the dancefloor. They are really feeling this night, you can tell
+rossman2007 true that. Thats the great thing about them special disco biscuits. Even the people trying to look cool and stylish cant help but get lost in the music and themselves when under the influence.

So after more than 5 years watching Boiler Room an other DJ Videosets on You Tube. I have to say that this is one of the best! good musik nice people and Len faki my Homie HH Respect
I think I left a comment on here a long time ago mentioning this but I can't find it, so I'm going to say it again. I think 1:21:03 is the best part in this set. It sounds like such a victorious and epic build-up. I picture this playing at the end of a sci-fi roleplaying game after you beat the final boss and the npc's who helped you along the way walk out with you to watch the sunset. Then the credits roll as this song keeps playing. And look at the group of people on the left. They had the perfect reaction to that song ❤️
Rad, if you look at old school party phootage circa 1994-1997, people where dancing the same way. I like how techno has stayed intuitve and minimal. And Len Faki is fucking awesome.
Still watching in 2024. This boiler room (along with many others) shaped my musical tastes and it remains my favourite genre of music. I love techno!
This one along with Maceo Plex and Sven Väth are my top 3. What’s yours?

You rarely see djs enjoy music this good, this man loves his job for sure
Stop Wars , we need a world with great times together and no mental borders... This set reminds of how techno is a way of being free from the system
This set gonna still rocking in 2020
this is the best Boilerroom set till today !

saw len faki in belfast last year, only dj i’ve seen yet that’s managed to make his whole set sound like 1 song
First seen this when it had 6000 views. It's the best boiler room ever. 1.21.47 Johanna heil transition six drop is unreal
47:40 when Randomer - Bring drops, still best reaction ever from dude behind Len :D :D :D

MASTER LEN!!!
GREETINGS FROM GREECE.
It's really hilarious how attentive the comment section is about the crowd :D
Main reason I watch these videos is to stare at the crowd lol, the music’s just a bonus
Top, hearing the first minute, it's completely my taste 100%
Yeah exactly bro that part is fucking legendary. Epic piece of techno right there
What’s the track’s name pls ?
@@SAUL-music Johannes Heil - Transition Six
that feeling!
2024 !!! Jamaica 🇯🇲
Saw him during last ADE, was the best set of the day. This dude is amazing.
berlin + techno, smth else...
Rad, if you look at old school party phootage circa 1994-1997, people where dancing the same way. I like how techno has stayed intuitve and minimal. And Len Faki is fucking awesome.
🥰
Definitely the best boiler room set i have heard, bar none!
Just flows nicely and that tougher kick is on it, Len Faki has immense talent!
Those 2 girls were almost squeezing the life out of Len, he can barely let an arm flail off.
So many languages in these comments. melodic techno is universal, it’s not just music, it’s a feeling. I love that!
Couldn't tell you how many times I've watched 27:10 - 29:50
Love how the presenter is all serious and sober at the start when he's presenting Len Faki but at the end, he's fucked beyond recovery lmaooooooooooo
The best boiler room I’ve ever heard
Hello guys! I’m the guy who stole the towel of Len Faki! It was an amazing night. I remember very well ❤
