Estrid's invocation can copy the overlord cycle, and if its part of a deck with green enchantment ramp, there will be more early targets. It does seem like a lot of work to make it playable tho
I don't think there is an enchantment that would be worth copying with Estrid but the best play I could think was to play spirited companion and then copy it with estrid and draw a card for a long as you have doggo. Not great but that type of play is what is where I see it having a place.
How do people feel about a bit of flexibility in the "mono-color" requirement? It hurt a little to see Magma Opus get passed up on the wheel. Anyone else remember the old episode of Friday Nights where they talk about splashing colors doesn't mean a deck isn't mono-red. :D I don't hate the idea of splash cards being played in a mono-color deck so long as: 1) The only splashes that happen should happen off of fixing that was acquired via "free" (or close-to-free) picks. Free dual lands can be picked and played, but shouldn't be taken over a reasonable mono-colored card. Moxen Collectors, or Key to the Archive are great sources of off-color mana that shouldn't break the spirit of mono-colored decks. 2) The cards being splashed should be super-powerful. In addition to something like Magma Opus, I'm thinking casting the back-side of Valki, splashing for Grenzo, or playing Lingering Souls in otherwise mono-white. 3) The cards shouldn't be "dead" if there is no splash color mana available. Magma Opus discards for treasure, and can be flashed back w/ Gearhulk. Valki can be played on its face. Lingering Souls still makes two spirits. Grenzo is the only exception, but that's for obvious power reasons.
Really really enjoying this series of mono-color drafts!!
Wow, great drafting as usual and final match nail biting 🎉

Mono blue definitely seems like cube hard mode
