@@DrummaBoyG he is 18 now since June of this year and he lost interest. I can get him to play every now and then for church… but he is into basketball and video games now 😭

I learned how to play drums watchin Sput play in Dallas back in the early to mid 90s. Sput was outta control BACK THEN even when he was a teenager! His playing was ALWAYS clean and professional sounding. Some dudes just got it like that I guess.

I actually have major respect for all of those drummers - and I know each one of them personally . . . What's interesting about this song though I know for a fact that none of them play Rhodes and keys like Sput either - just some spice to the convo . . . I got mad love for all of the beasts mentioned regardless - I can't say who's the best - they have a wide range of styles

Last thing, you killed it on Tonex' live CD...

I tend to like dudes that can kill it even in the midst of a pocket. That's what impresses me more nowadays a player, being able to do nasty licks and still stay within the context of a grove without drawing too much attention to yourself while you are playing.

hey I never thought it would be easy to get it touch with cats like you guys. I have 2 questions. If I were to send you stems of a recording, would you guys put drums on them, how much etc, would you be able to come to nyc to record, pretty much what needs to be done to get you or sput on some of my stuff. Second, is this every going to be commercially released?
