Ivon did a really great job decluttering. 👏👏🙌🙌 Karen, I remember thinking when you originally brought all that stuff down from upstairs that it seemed an excessive amount of things to go through. So it doesn’t surprise me that much of it was removed from the space, because if the girls had wanted it, they would have already been using it and brought it down to their new rooms themselves. Your daughter seemed to have accumulated so many products, I mean realistically how many of them did they really need?! Also, I think you can see from this video just how much money was wasted on buying stocking fillers nobody really wanted, needed or even ended up using. All those small amounts of money add up quickly and could have been better spent on a larger quality item they would have appreciated more and actually used, or saved towards something like a car payments or experiences that would have been more fun. Another bit of the video that really surprised me was when Ivon said she spent $50 dollars on a iphone case and it broke the next day, and I thought why didn’t she take it back to the store and get a ‘not fit for purpose’ refund, because surely that is good money wasted. Anyway, I am glad you are re-gifting a lot of those items because maybe they will be better appreciated by other people. If your other family members or friends don’t want them, then I am sure a women’s shelter would accept them for those women who had to leave their homes without being able to take such items with them when they left or indeed those who couldn’t afford them in the first place. Finally, I think maybe Ivon needs a lesson in financial management because she seems to spend money on a lot of money on small items such as excessive amounts of toiletries and lotions that she simply just sits on a shelf gathering dust. Just in the re-gift box alone there must be nearly a couple hundred dollars worth of monetary value. Who can afford to waste that kind of money these days in this economic climate? Plus, she also had a lot of neglected stuffed toys that just end up on the floor gathering fluff or cat hair on them. So, with her baby on the way, maybe she will need to think about the cost of everyday items and should consider the need to prioritise her money (or indeed yours and Robin’s money) more wisely moving forward.
What a wise young lady you have raised Karen. When Ivon calls you Girl I cringe. If I called my mother that in the 60’s I don’t think I wouldn’t be calling her girl a second time ! How times change. Thanks for sharing.
Yes!!! Regift go ahead. I do it all the time. I buy a bunch of that stuff on clearance the bbw and I regift it I have a section in my closet that is for just like gifts to pull out like for christmas, birthdays, or if I am goingto someones house for diinner or something shop your home.
Awesome declutter! I had quite a bit of shower gels and body sprays that I ended up getting a rash from. I had my granddaughter and daughters go through them to see if they wanted any of the items. I was thrilled they took everything and have been enjoying using the items. I say gift the unused items and let family enjoy them!!
Ivon did an awesome job! She is making room for baby 💙 Just an idea for a video, asking your subscribers what their most useful baby item was and what was a waste of money and space.
Yes, I would absolutely regift what you can; or put out a box for the daughters/daughters in laws to go through when they visit for Christmas; and/or donate to a women's shelter. Ivon did a great job of letting go and Mom did a great job of not berating about the money spent (that would have been hard for me even when I know that it the absolute wrong thing to do).
Ivon! Good job! And Mom, too! Mom, don't encourage her to keep something she's willing to get rid of....I think Ivon is showing some maturity she's going to need when that precious baby comes....I thought that, too, as I saw in another post: = Growing up, I had none of that stuff, a lipstick when I was old enough, make up only for prom, no perfume no special lotion. I had one stuffed animal that I still have. My mom tried to find a representation of a dog I had that died. My sister had some perfume, and once, I went to the store with her to buy some more and it was $11. I thought how in the world do you pay $11 for perfume!! Funny!...Times have changed for sure!
Have you ever seen those hanging nets that kids use to store their stuffed toys on the wall, I think they use suction cups to hold it up. Maybe Ivon can use one of those to keep her cherished toys, be able to see them and have space on her bed. As someone else mentioned, the baby will get to those in time! 😂
Hi Karen! Ofc you should regift or donate all the unused stuff , all those "lotions and potions" can bless somebody else. All the open but still much left bottles, the girls can ask their friends if they want those. Me and my friends (and my sister and mother ) do that all the time, if I have something that I tried and didnt like, some one in my close circle are always keen on it.
Great job! I’m so glad you didn’t pass on the ones that were toxically headache inducing. And the other ones will make other people very happy. Great decision making!
Oh how I wish I could declutter like that. She makes it look so easy. Me I would be thinking maybe I will still use it or it cost x amount so I should use it. I definitely find it easier to declutter if my daughter is with me or on the phone cause she makes me see the light. Xx
I remember you promised yourself no more self care type stocking fillers. If you have a local free market or buy nothing page, that stuff would be snatched right up.
Sadly sometimes we buy lotions and fragrances or are gifted them and we don’t end up liking them. I hate to throw away full or barely used bottles. On Facebook there are no buy groups. If you post photos of the items you no longer want it’s likely you will get responses. I’ve even given away nail polishes. You’d be surprised what people are willing to take when it’s free. Also I was thinking that some women’s or homeless shelters may take new products.
Hellooo Karen, gosh Ivon has the declutter muscles I could only ever wish to have, what a good clear out she did. She’s so funny, but then so are you😂🥰🥰🥰🥰
Absolutely, give those away for Christmas and birthdays, etc. I would just not buy any more until used them up. Bath and Body Works is a total sham with their marketing.
I hope eva can come in to purge her portion of things ! The space will be so nice after and keeping body products in your room or bathroom makes sure they get used. Seeks unfortunate that so many thijgs in the room went forgotten
Ivon is really good at decluttering when she has the time. I enjoy the videos when she is with you. She is funny and enjoyable. I hope she is beginning to feel much better as her pregnancy progresses.

Ivon was ruthless in her decluttering! Your girls definitely DO NOT need to buy any bath or beauty products for a long time!
Awesome declutter! I had quite a bit of shower gels and body sprays that I ended up getting a rash from. I had my granddaughter and daughters go through them to see if they wanted any of the items. So awful about the rash but what a great declutter!! 🌸
Way to go Ivon! Declutterring queen! ❤
🙌🙌

Great idea!! 😃

Her “heh heh” laugh is a treasure!😂

Mom, body lotions do have expiration dates also. Check before you regift.

Great job you two 👍
Take care❤
Good job! Always enjoy your videos🙂
Ivon, you did a great job decluttering! 👏👏👏 And I love your slippers!
Awesome decluttering. Keep the stuffies for the baby❣️
❤️🤰🏽
Great job ladies! 😊
Love your interaction with Evone!!!!
We have a store, Plato's Closet, that sells gently used clothes for teen to early 20s. They will buy lotions and potions.
I remember you promised yourself no more self care type stocking fillers.
If you have a local free market or buy nothing page, that stuff would be snatched right up.
Yes this solidified and reminded me of that decision!!

Yes regift!!

😘
This is a fantastic declutter!!! 🎉❤
Thank you!! 😅
The sprays pretty much never go bad- the creams and lotions definitely do though so with those go with smell and appearance.
Happy Tuesday Karen!
Happy Tuesday, Cheryl!!
SHE needs to come to my house. Just think.... that's that much more JUNK out if your house that you have to see and worry about.GREAT JOB!!!
I was so happy about this declutter!! 🙌😃
Good job, Ivon And mom!
Into the night is one of two signature scents i wear. I call it my fancy scent. It smells so grown. ya know?
Yes definitely regift the unused items!
Wow good job❤️
Hi Karen ,what a fun video! Way to go Ivon🎉❤
Thank you! 🤗
@ThisMainerMom your welcome
Please both come and declutter at mine!! That was amazing. It reminds me of a time will tell box. You come back to it with zero interest!
Got to make room for the baby boy
Poor Ivon has a real thing for beauty products and Squishmallows!!
She sure does!!
@ThisMainerMom Her focus will be changing here shortly, lol.
Ivon is funny
I love when she’s in your videos
Me too! ❤️
Absolutely, give those away for Christmas and birthdays, etc. I would just not buy any more until used them up. Bath and Body Works is a total sham with their marketing.
I would regift unopened products. Or sell them?
Great job Ivon! The chemicals in those items are not good for you or baby. Bed Bath & Beyond is nasty! Giving you headaches for a reason...❤
I hope eva can come in to purge her portion of things ! The space will be so nice after and keeping body products in your room or bathroom makes sure they get used. Seeks unfortunate that so many thijgs in the room went forgotten
I don’t know if this would make you feel better but they were forgotten in their closet before that!
@ThisMainerMom i been there! Haha she went through this declutter with rapid fire though. Hope to see more episodes 🥰
That's great 😊❤
It would have helped if she had said.. keep or regift. 😆 but, she would look at it and set it down. I got confused about what went where. 😂
The few times she said she’d keep it are the only things we kept! Very little! I can totally understand the confusion! 🤭
@ThisMainerMom 😆 she did a great job. It was a little box of keep for sure.
Ivon is really good at decluttering when she has the time. I enjoy the videos when she is with you. She is funny and enjoyable. I hope she is beginning to feel much better as her pregnancy progresses.
Now you know not to buy body lotions or sprays as gifts this Christmas.
Your girls have lots and lots of products and lots of money tied up in them.
My 13 year old granddaughter has I don’t know how many perfumes and body mists- it’s a thing I promise
❤😊
You should donate lotions and sprays to women centers.
Can we trade all that in on a car!!!
That would be the dream!!
❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Should get a teddy bear and record the baby's heart beat on it❤
I would give the unwanted, unused toiletry items to a women’s shelter.
Ivon doesn't waste any time... we could all learn a lot from her... don't use, don't keep!
She is a force!
🐑 not (cheep) 😂
😂🤣
Calling you "girl" comes across as a little disrespectful.
Definitely isn’t; she’s very sweet and loves her parents. Mine will say that to me 🤷🏻♀️
Naw, my daughter calls me girlfriend. It’s playful and funny, and she knows when things are serious to not use it.
Seems like a shame how much money was wasted on these products. Please encourage Evonne (sp.?) to save more and spend less.
Oh I have! And I do!
