Hope you have a good read-a-thon. I ❤️ taking part in Bout of Books too, and I'm looknig forward to this one so I can finish off some books and hopefully get back into reading.
I LOVE Sabriel and I hope you like it too. I read it 14 years ago and still love it dearly. The audiobook is done by Tim Curry too if you ever do that version :)
I FINALLY gave in to your badgering and picked up The Black Prism. I'm almost 300 pages in and LOVING it. Hopefully I can finish that and read Carry On by Rainbow Rowell as I still haven't hopped on that train. Fingers crossed. I only have the two as its my first readathon. Happy reading!
I'm doing the readathon! I'm reading The Problem With Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout , Reality Boy by A.S. King, The Ocean at the End of The Lane by Neil Gaiman and Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. It's a little ambitious but I think I can do it :) .
I am so completely obsessed with "Every Heart a Doorway!!" I've been dying to find something similar. I love love loved it!! (Fangirling a bit here. 😳😊)
Ooh, I'm tempted to do the bout of books - probably in a relaxed way and try to finish rereading the HP series (currently 250 pages into order of the Phoenix) and then cursed child, or something like that
+Alistair Sorrows it's just a stupid comment. I'm not saying she has to do it. Chill out, woman. Don't get defensive about something that's so trivial :)
+S R she seems pretty chill for me, the comment in the first place sounded rude so she was just addressing it you guý are the ones who r quick to take the blame
If only the read-a-thon happened during the last two weeks when I read a book a day...and now that another read-a-thon is happening I've burnt myself out and will most likely fall into a reading slump...oh boy...
I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Every Heart a Doorway! :o My TBR Pile most likely won't get finished since I'm busy as heck with school, but uhhh...y'know. Pure by Julianna Baggott Welcome to Night Vale by Joseph Fink + Jeffrey Cranor The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman and maybe...possibly Messenger by Lois Lowry. If I get there. .__.'
I'm participating! I'll be reading And I Darken by Kiersten White (if I don't finish it by then), rereading The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson, The Woman Warrior by Maxine Hong Kingston, and maybe Sula by Toni Morrison.
I'm a day late on the readathon, but I'm going to attempt it 1. The Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling. (on page 15 of 503) 2. Graceling by Kristin Cashore (471 pages) 3. The Zero Game by Brad Meltzer (460 pages) 4. Cold Shoulder by Lynda La Plante (415 pages) 5. The Calling by Kelley Armstrong (326 pages) 6. See Me by Nicholas Sparks. (482 pages) I literally have 2,642 pages to read in the next 6 days.
Sabriel is really, really brilliant although sad to say: not about a magic school at all xD still: the series as a whole is surprisingly.... not talked about at all on BookTube which is such a shame
Have you ever heard about Cornelia Funke's Inkworld trilogy? I think you are gonna like it. It's a sweet and well written ya fantasy that you won't regret reading it
I wanna say I'll be able to finish these but who knows Six of Crows Attachments Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets I think it's a manageable list for this readathon, plus I've just gotten out of a reading slump so I don't wanna over do it haha
Your dog!! I wish I had one! I would love to participate but only finding out about this now and a day - nearly 2 - is almost over :((. Hopefully next time!
I'm still trying to read last summer of reason which I should be able to finish in a afternoon but I keep putting down cause I know what happened to the author and it breaks my heart and soul
From Seanan McGuire's web FAQ: A: My name is pronounced "SHAWN-in," with the stress on the first syllable. It's an archaic form of "Janet." A surprising number of people can say "Sean" but can't say "Seanan," even though it's really just a "Sean" with an "an" at the end. If you're still having trouble, think of it like this: "Let Shawn in the house." My name is pronounced just like the middle part of that sentence. "Shawn in."
I'm also participating. I'm planning on getting through around 3 books but I picked 5 for the TBR just to give myself a bit of variety haha. - My blog is where my TBR is posted for this if you want to check it out :) chloreads.blogspot.co.uk xxx
You go Regan with those invisible bookshelves...looking all professional

Your sweater is making me so excited for the Fall!!!
I love Sabriel! The sequel, Lirael, is my favorite though. It has this huge amazing library that I wish I could visit. Sorta.
As long as the disreputable dog was there
The dog noises make this video 100x times cuter :) thank you!
You should VLOG soon!! I live for your vlogs!!
Yess! Sabriel!!! The first of my fav series of all time; I'm afraid it's not exactly a magical school but it is magic and raising the dead.

The Abhorsen series is so beautiful and one of the first fantasy series I ever read. I adore it and I hope you do too!

Sabriel is great! It's part of a series in case you didn't know.
Sabriel is so so good. And the audiobook is narrated by Tim Curry!!!
I'm doing the readathon!

If only the read-a-thon happened during the last two weeks when I read a book a day...and now that another read-a-thon is happening I've burnt myself out and will most likely fall into a reading slump...oh boy...
You should read Mistborn: Secret History. It's short and amazing.
Please, do a vlog of your read-a-thon!
I wish I had the drive and commitment to do a readathon. I just can't read more than one novel a week (unless they are VERY short).
I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Every Heart a Doorway! :o My TBR Pile most likely won't get finished since I'm busy as heck with school, but uhhh...y'know.

Six of Crows

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
I think it's a manageable list for this readathon, plus I've just gotten out of a reading slump so I don't wanna over do it haha
I finally caved and bought Six of Crows....and I have yet to read it. :( I am shooting for next month with the release of the sequel.
It's such a page turner! I started it before going to bed yesterday and I'm already at the 200 page mark haha
loving the multiple POVs too
Let me know how what your thoughts are on it when you are done. 😊
I miss your old background!
Mmmm I don't remember there being a magic school in Sabriel...? Granted, it's been like 5 years since I read it so idk
i love your shirt! where did you get it?
Can you please review sabriel once you've finished reading it?? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it :)

Can you do a book review about TRUTHWITCH I would love it!!!
Your dog!! I wish I had one! I would love to participate but only finding out about this now and a day - nearly 2 - is almost over :((. Hopefully next time!
It actually starts on the 22nd. I don't why she put the 18th, but you have plenty of time to participate.
4theluvofmusic14 Really? Thank's so much for letting me know!
Hi! What do you think about "The Legend of the spies" (The Book of Espionage 1) - Kindle Edition? Is it worth it? Thanks!
I love your shirt! Where is it from? :)
It starts the 22nd
I knew it!
I checked in the link of the creator it's from the 22nd to the 28th
Oh yeah, sorry about that! I thought you meant the one Raegan's participating in. There are different dates apparently
Did you end up reading Sabriel? I haven't seen you comment about it. It's a favorite in my house. :-)
I'm still trying to read last summer of reason which I should be able to finish in a afternoon but I keep putting down cause I know what happened to the author and it breaks my heart and soul
do you know how many books you own?
I'm getting conflicting dates for this read-a-thon. Is it the 18th/19th-26th, or the 22nd-28th?
The actual website says 22-28
seanan is pronounced like Shannon, just for the record
From Seanan McGuire's web FAQ: A: My name is pronounced "SHAWN-in," with the stress on the first syllable. It's an archaic form of "Janet." A surprising number of people can say "Sean" but can't say "Seanan," even though it's really just a "Sean" with an "an" at the end.

anyone know the title of the book shown on the center shelf of the bookcase (the one with the cover facing forward)??
The school of good and evil
A school for good and evil?
It looks like The School of Good and Evil by Soman Chainani.
