    I understand that Prizm Rose will give more contrast punch than the Prizm persimmon altough rose is a bit darker. Do you think i'm better with persimmon if i already have a saphire lens and i'm looking for a 2nd lens for low light conditions and occasionally night skiing? Or the rose could also be good for this use? Thanks for your help and continue your good work! 👍

      Are these better then rose / hi pink low light lenses or is the hi pink still the best

      Hello Kam! Rob and Tyler say they are just a hair darker than HI-Pink. They would be better option if you have light sensitive eyes. The level of contrast that you get will be about the same. The main difference here is the color of the lens.

    Im deciding which one for night riding, I'm thinking the hi pink since you say it seems to let in a tad more light, plus idk if at night time that I'd want to see everything turn orange.

      I think that is a great choice since PRIZM HI Pink is really the closest to a clear lens.

      For night rides I use the clear one, I think it is the best both with artificial lights and with headlight (skitouring) , or I may suggest the hi yellow than the hi pink for nights. I live in the Alps, bye

    How would these go with night riding? Ive got flight decks with the prizm torch lense but im looking at getting a second goggle with just a low light lense for such scenarios

      Hi there! They are just a hair darker than PRIZM HI Pink. However, I am sure you can still get by at night with them. Hope this helps!

    Is this the closest to an all-around lens from Oakley?

      Hi! At a 39% VLT it's one of the better options for all-day riding through ever changing light conditions. Although, it may prove to be too light for bright bluebird conditions. The Prizm Rose at 26% is another good option to consider. Happy shredding!

    I'm confused - Whats the difference between the Prizm Persimmon and the previous Persimmon lenses? Same base color, vlt?

    What about Prizm Hi Persimmon? I have been using Hi Persimmon for ages and it has been great "one lens doing all" type a solution.

      Hi there! Are you speaking of the original persimmon lens from Oakley? This new PRIZM Persimmon is built more to really boost contrast in low light conditions.

    • @joukoturunen262
      @joukoturunen262 5 років тому

      I’m speaking about the Hi Persimmon. On my profile picture I’m wearing Airbrakes with that lens. I believe it’s the persimmon lens with ”Hi” coating.

    Would you recommend this lens for night riding?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  4 роки тому

      Yes, I think this or PRIZM HI Pink would work well for night riding. PRIZM HI Pink is even closer to a completely clear lens in my opinion. PRIZM Persimmon gives you more of that orange saturation of color.
