It's such an annoying trend. It's like, the only way for these movies to surprise you is if you go into them completely blind. And that's super annoying to me also. I just want to be able to watch a couple minutes to get a feel for the movie before investing hours of my time without spoiling the entire movie in the span of like 3 minutes.

Seriously, that kid whos looking for her mom was easily the creepiest thing in the trailer. You get to see your mom/daughter and thinking that she's fine but then she eats you.
Forget every other zombie movie, this is the best of the best! Script gets right to it and the English dubbing is spot-on! Superb zombie effects and well acted by the two leads. Intense all the way through!

When I saw this movie, I was like: it's like dealing with the Corona virus, but way worse. Here's why: 1) You have to stay at home, quarantined 2) You have to have all your food and water supplies with you 3) You should not go outside as it's very dangerous. 4) And of course, there's a contagious virus spreading around, infecting people and killing others around them by passing it on through cough, sneeze, etc.
Bit late, just finished watching this movie. Pretty cool. Taught me 2 things: -stock on foods -make sure you're house is built strong (aww, should my nipa hut dream house a thing in the past?) Well, because of covid I believe everything is possible to happen. So be prepared.
This movie really surprised me! I didn't expect it to be so good. One thing that called my attention is the final message: stay strong, don't give up, survive. I interpret this as a message regarding suicide prevention, since the characters considered suiciding some times during the movie, but in the end they didn't give up and survived, even with all the bad circumstances. Cool movie, cool acting, cool story and cool message! Yeah, this movie is very cool! #WeMustSurvive

For your curiosity, most Koreans including myself know the film is an adaptation of the famous webtoon. The following is part of a Korean article.. "Originally based on Naver webtoon 'Dead Days' on June 24, the movie 'Alive' has been released..." I personally loved the unique film. It was almost like a creative inde art house film but never boring. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time! Better to see it on the big cinema screen though (At least connect Netflix to tv!) The ending had to be a happy one unlike Train to Busan, to give hope to us who are struggling with Corona. Let's hope we'll also see the end of this nightmare and light of hope. Timing of the film is appropriate!

It's kinda slow paced during the first 30 mins and there's a lot of filler scenes with their dialogues etc but it's definitely better than Peninsula with bad CGI and terrible acting. Sometime in 2016, bugs like ants were getting infected with a fungus zombie type.. Now all sorts of insects are effected with it, spiders to worms are turning into zombies. In 2018-19 there was a mass hysteria along the east coast with raccoons getting effected with this zombie bug... Now supposedly dogs can get it.. Shit has been quietly spreading since 2012... The idea behind this isn't hard to accept.

Just watched it today on Netflix. It didn't stun me with its plot but was still really enjoyable. The zombies were pretty scary as well with their random jumpscares and their makeups were on point, and I like the entire format of the film. Highly recommended :)

I just watched this movie... It's actually pretty great, I couldn't stop myself from exiting the moment I laid eyes on the film. It had me by the soul.
He should've created armor with all his expensive clothing covering his vital areas, he used a knife improperly, and a golf club is pretty weak for a weapon choice as well. Those Whiskey bottles would've been greater weapons than that golf club during the hallway scene.
Should've saved water from the first day of the outbreak? So many things he could've done but didn't, expected much more from him since he was a gamer and probably played atleast one zombie game in his life, still loved the movie and his goofy character though.

Just watched it and it's incredibly good. I like how it gave me a whole view to zombie apocalypse where in most if not all, were focused on the action and getting it out there by killing zombies. It has the more realistic side of survival which is really nice to see

When I saw this movie, I was like: it's like dealing with the Corona virus, but way worse. Here's why:
1) You have to stay at home, quarantined
2) You have to have all your food and water supplies with you
3) You should not go outside as it's very dangerous.
4) And of course, there's a contagious virus spreading around, infecting people and killing others around them by passing it on through cough, sneeze, etc.
But we need to go outside to get some food
But also we need some guns to kill the zombies

This movie really surprised me! I didn't expect it to be so good. One thing that called my attention is the final message: stay strong, don't give up, survive. I interpret this as a message regarding suicide prevention, since the characters considered suiciding some times during the movie, but in the end they didn't give up and survived, even with all the bad circumstances. Cool movie, cool acting, cool story and cool message!

I personally loved the unique film. It was almost like a creative inde art house film but never boring.
It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time!

The ending had to be a happy one unlike Train to Busan, to give hope to us who are struggling with Corona.

@@thekickchannel16 just watched it 10 minutes ago. And yes, the action is not as packed as train to busan. It's kinda slow paced during the first 30 mins and there's a lot of filler scenes with their dialogues etc but it's definitely better than Peninsula with bad CGI and terrible acting.
I kinda hate Park Shin Hye's acting here for some reasons. She's so bland. That guy did great tho. Gonna give this 4/5

No. Inconsistent zombies, poor decision making by main characters, script is questionable, the one character saying no one has to die while he's torturing someone hoping it will bring back his wife, zombie climbing up side of building and a main character decides not to use the axe right away to cut that cable, instead she runs towards moving table and somehow gest knocked out from a table pushing her over. The majority of the fans reaction to Monster Hunter is what this one deserves.

Sometime in 2016, bugs like ants were getting infected with a fungus zombie type.. Now all sorts of insects are effected with it, spiders to worms are turning into zombies. In 2018-19 there was a mass hysteria along the east coast with raccoons getting effected with this zombie bug... Now supposedly dogs can get it.. Shit has been quietly spreading since 2012... The idea behind this isn't hard to accept.

You’d need some man made genetic virus , & even with that .. it’s hard to get one that’ll make people come back from being dead .. a zombie apocalypse is really not likely. Now a regular apocalypse on the other hand , is very much likely .. with food water & energy our main source , people will kill , & go at war when all our resources run out.

Just watched it today on Netflix. It didn't stun me with its plot but was still really enjoyable. The zombies were pretty scary as well with their random jumpscares and their makeups were on point, and I like the entire format of the film. Highly recommended :)

Just watched it and it's incredibly good. I like how it gave me a whole view to zombie apocalypse where in most if not all, were focused on the action and getting it out there by killing zombies. It has the more realistic side of survival which is really nice to see
