Thzr is the real answer, but in Paris, they all sayd it like French style and certainly himself, but in the origin it is jeager prononced like your mother tale 😉

It simply makes a soft “j” sound like in the word bonjour, rather than a hard “g” sound like in the word “gift”.

I was born in Paris and lived in Geneva for my high school years, and though "Jaeger" is a German name, in French the Jae is pronounced as you would the verb j'ai ("I have") in French.
I guess you mean Swiss-German, French and German speaking. Unless German French is referring to some mashup of both languages used in Switzerland, in which case I would really love to listen to it 😀

From a Swiss guy a biking distance from the manufacture: you should pronounce Jaeger-LeCoultre with a French “a” sound for ae not a French “e” sound.

@Max E Yes, I know and I don't mind the pronunciation of German watch brands in English or any other brands. I'm just a bit particular towards Japanese pronunciation in German, because firstly, I speak Japanese a bit and secondly German pronunciation of Japanese words is especially off and hurts to hear.
