Beautiful ❤
Wow ! I love it ! Bravo 💞💕🌸🌺🌸🌺💕💞
Thank you so much!😊💖
Beautiful tutorial! These pieces are gorgeous!
Thank you! We will never get tired of these floral blocks 💖
beautiful work your flowers are lovely
Thank you so much 😊
Looks great!!
Thank you 😊
I love them! Very pretty! I use a helping hands clip the kind you use for soldering to help keep the flowers in place when using spheres .
Thank you so much! That's an awesome tip! I'll keep that in mind for next time when I make larger spheres😊
Your work is beautiful and very well done. I am looking to use whole rose blooms and need something easier due to trouble with my hands.
I notice you are diligent with proper tools. How do you safely clean and dispose of trace resin from your projects?
I have worked it on how to be safe mixing and making but not sure how to dispose of/clean mixing containers etc.
Do you have a video on that aspect?
Many thanks.
Thank you! I let the resin harden, then peel them off the containers. I keep the cured resin to reuse in future pieces to save on material as well. I don’t have a video covering that specially, but this is something I make with my the cured resin from cups and stuff - ua-cam.com/video/9D65wuE6RRg/v-deo.html.
Gorgeous! You are such an inspiration. I want to learn how to do this. Can you please show a video of you top coating a block like this one. I can't imagine it looking better than it does now. Do you top coat all your preservation pieces?
Thank you so much for watching! I'll add the top coating part to my next floral block video. I top coat all my pieces now because I feel like it adds an extra level of professionalism to it and the shine is like no other. Top coating blocks is the same process as top coating any other piece though. It may be a little bit scary at first, because it's a larger block, but it's really the same as any flat surface. Practice on things like coasters and you'll get the hang of it!
@@EllafulDeco Aww! Thank you much for responding and your advice. I can't wait to watch that video.
My resin will start curing in the cup in 6 hours.
This is my process for the specific resin that I use - TotalBoat’s Thickset Fathom Resin. If you’re using a different resin, follow the instructions on your resin. You will have to figure out how to work with your resin through trial and error.
Beautiful work!! I understand you use Total Boat, have you compared Stone Coat Epoxy?
Thank you! I haven’t tried Stone Coat. I’ve been using TotalBoat for almost 4 years now with no issues. Resin is also expensive and I don’t have the money to test different resins just for experimentation at the moment 😅
Sou do Brasil, vc pidetia colocar os produtos nas descrições dos videos. Seus trabalhos são lindos!
Hello! Thank you for watching my videos! Is there a specific product you are looking for?
Hi I love your works❤, that's beautifull resin, could you share how to combain resin A and resin B ? I mean the total of gram resin A and resin B
Thank you❤
Thank you! Are you using the same brand and type of resin that I am as well? Every brand is different and every type of resin from one brand is different as well. They are usually measured by volume, but there should also be instructions for measuring by weight as well. I can only give details for the resins that I use because those are the ones I know.
@@EllafulDeco thank you for sharing, I'm beginner from these project, I usually making paperflower, but since I saw ypur works I got idea for making paperflower resin😁, I can't wait for your next beautifull project💕
Which country are you in please love to order some moulds? I’m in Australia
I'm located in the US, but I don't make these block molds. They're from AaJMolds. I have them linked in the description :)
How much was your wait time between each layer?
The wait time for each layer depends on your resin, how deep you pour, and your environment. For me and the resin that I used in this video, I usually wait 24 hours in between layers. I wait 12 hrs after mixing before I even pour into the mold.
Can glue be recommended?
I use Elmer’s school glue that I pick up from Walmart/Target.
Hi Ella
I have a question for you, I tried to make exact same thing for a first time but after I take out my flower preservation from Mold the sides and the bottom of the flower preservation was matt , why??
Only the surface was really clear and glossy what was the reason?
Please help me to fix this problem. Thank you
Hi Paris! Is your mold matte? If your mold is matte, the sides that touch the mold will also be matte. It can be fixed with a coat of resin or sanding and polishing.
@@EllafulDeco my mold is a white colour silicone, how should I recognise if its matte or not?
@@pariskasmai9946 I'm not exactly sure how to explain it with words, but here's an example: www.amazon.com/Walfos-Silicone-Donut-Mold-Dishwasher/dp/B08FHS4PZC (shiny) and www.amazon.com/Aichoof-Doughnuts-Non-Stick-Dishwasher-Resistant/dp/B0BTHGMF7H (matte). For my molds, usually tinted, if the inside of the mold is fading to white, then it's turning matte. Resin will cause molds to slowly turn matte with each since it's a harsh chemical.
@@EllafulDeco thanks Ella
I will check mine to see the difference
Hi Ella
I tried the new mold and yes, you were right, the problem was mold. Just wanted to say thank you for your help.
Now I have another question what should I do to reduce the bubbles to minimum?
Are these dried flowers?
These flowers are dried in silica gel prior to preserving in resin.
Do real flowers rot inside over time?
The flowers are fully dried so they will not rot over time. I have flower drying tutorials on my channel as well if you’re interested!
