예수님께서 "나를 믿는 자들에게는 생수의 강이 안으로부터 흘러 나 올 것이다. 나중에 받게 될 성령"에 대해 말씀하신 후.

1) On hearing / his words, 듣자마자/그분의 말씀을( On ~ing~ 하자 마자, on arriving there 도착하자마자, on이 ~의 표면에 접촉(딱 표면에 달라 붙어), ~ 위에 뜻에서 ~ing ~하자마자, On hearing 듣자마자, "누구든지 목 마른자는 나에게 와서 마셔라. 나를 믿는 자는 누구든지 그 안에서 생명수의 강이 흐를 것이니라!"라는 예수님의 말씀을 듣자마자)

이 백성 중에서 너(모세)와 같은 선지자를 세울 것이라는 말씀에 따라 유대인들은 평생 그 선지자를 기다려 왔고, 특히 로마 통치 하에서는 더욱 기다렸는데 이; 사람이야말로 우리가 기다리던 그 선지자(the Prophet)이라는 의미)
4) Others said,/"He is the Messiah." 또 다른 사람들은 말했습니다/ 그 사람은 메시아(구세주, Christ)이시다.
5) Still / others asked, 그런데도 여전히 다른 사람들은 물었습니다.
6) "How can the Messiah come from Galilee? 어떻게 메시아가 올 수 있단 말이야? 갈릴리로부터? (갈릴리 같은 촌동네에서 어떻게 메시아(그리스도, 구세주)가 나올 수 있겠는가?하는 반응, 미가서에서는 메시아가 베들레헴에서 나온다고 했는데 갈릴리라고하느냐? 이건 불가능한 일이야!란 뜻을 담고 있음)
7) [ can ~일 수 있을까?(설마 그럴 리가 없다)] 강한 의문이나 부정을 나타내는 표현, (여러 번 나온 내용)
(1) How can he/ pass the test?
( 그가 ~할 수 있을까?/ 시험에 합격 할 수 있을까?)
(2) How can he/ get admission? (어떻게 그가 ~할 수 있을까?/입학허가서를 받을 수 있을까?)
(3) How can he/ apply for a scholarship?(어떻게 그가 ~할 수 있을까?/ 장학금을 신청할 수있을까)
can이 의문문이나 부정문에서는 강한 의심을 나타내는 경우가 많다. It can't be true. (사실일 리가 없다)
본문) How can the Messiah come / from Galilee?어떻게 메시아가 올 수 있단 말입니까 / 갈릴리로부터?
8) 원어민 소리 따라하기(반복)> 안보고 원어민과 같이 말하기> 안되면 교재를 보고라도 말하기> 쉐도잉하는 방법(팁) 한쪽 귀는 들으면서 0.1초 후에 입으로 따라 말하기(동시통역사 방법) 하다 보면 어느 날엔가 되므로 오늘도 재미있게 하기> 입에 붙으면 어제 배운 것과 연결하기 > 본문 Wrting 꼼꼼히 하시고 10분 낭송 후 일어나시라! 20200916 수!

정철선생님은 참 인내심이 많으시다. 참 착하시다. 예수님처럼..자기 말을 그대로 안 따라해도 자꾸 반복해서 말씀해주신다. 처음 가르침을 들었을때 바로 깨닫고 즉각 순종하면 좋으련만 왤케 나같은 사람은 그러지 못하고 뒤늦게야 깨닫는지..
"암기하려하지 말고
(뜻을 생각하며) 자꾸 반복 낭송하세요" 오늘밤 문득 7장 1절부터 천천히 낭송해본다. 주님의 직접하신 말씀이 나올때는 그분의 애타는 심정이 느껴지면서 눈물이 난다. 그토록 한 얘기 또하고 또해도 못 알아들으면 화를 내실만도 한데 예수님은
또 가르치시고 반복해주신다.
정철 선생님도 참 인내심 많고 성실하시고 좋으신거 같다. ~^^

At that point some of the people of Jerusalem began to ask, "Isn't this the man they are trying to kill?
Here he is, speaking publicly, and they are not saying a word to him.
Have the authorities really concluded that he is the Messiah?
But we know where this man is from;
When the Messiah comes, no one will know where he is from. "
Then Jesus still teaching in the temple courts cried out, "Yes, you know me and you know where I am from. I am not here on my own authority, but he who sent me is true. You do not know him, but I know him because I am from him and he sent me. " At this they tried to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.
Still many in the crowd believed in him. They said, "When the Messiah comes, will he perform more signs than this man?"
The Pharisees heard the crowd whispering such things about him. Then the chief priests and the Pharisees sent temple guards to arrest him. Jesus said, "I am with you for only a short time and then I am going to the one who sent me.
'You will look for me, but you will not find me; and where I am you cannot come."
The Jews said to one another, "Where does this man intend to go that we cannot find him?
Will he go where our people live scattered among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks? What did he mean when he said, 'You will look for me, but you will not find me,' and 'where I am you cannot come '?"
On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.
Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them."
By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were late to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.
On hearing his words some of the people said,"Surely this man is the Prophet. " Others said,"He is the Messiah. " Still others asked, "How can the Messiah come from Galilee?
