When the next gen consoles comes this game is going to play perfectly at 120fps without any drops, and it might even have higher resolution or it might have an upscaler that can improve it.
If I deem it necessary, yes, but not always. If there's a lot of tearing, I tend to use it in order to eliminate the tearing as much as possible, in combination with having 120HZ on.
Turn off all visual assists bar depth of field and vigenette and it looks better slightly have in xbox and ps5 both are identicsl until u turn hdr on ps5 looks better and less anbient occlusion@@tjs800
@@Brytech1216 Absolutely incorrect bro. This is obviously a Sigma 2 port no doubt about it. They made some tweaks to get it closer to NGII, but it's 100% sigma 2.
@@gamble777888 nah, no Buddha boss, no Statue of Liberty boss. Just got to chapter 6 the aqua capital so still have to see more but the only thing I saw that’s sigma 2 is the level with Momoji and the placement of weapons. Getting the great sword in chapter 4 instead of the dual katanas in og gaiden 2. I really think it’s a mix of sigma 2 and classic
@ yup, I have probably over 500 hours on OG NG, I could tell right away this was Sigma. The enemies are heavier, spongier, different AI patterns, and combos flying swallow is not insta kill on ninjas in the air etc. Then there are the myriad of little level design changes that are all in tact here from Sigma. It's basically a straight sigma port with tweaks to the dismemberment and the OT and taking away the mid level bosses, which were all trash so no loss there. Overall it's definitely an improvement, but I can't call it a definitive version of NGII. Personally I would have preferred for all of the additional chapters to be optional, like have an option to toggle the campaign with or without extra chapters. They are fluff and unnecessary imo. For high level NGII level players they will not be satisfied by this port, I'm about to finish mentor and all of the funnest encounters are missing here including all of the crazy IS ninja encounters and the crazy lobster rooms.Because of the way the AI is fundemantally different in Sigma you can't really reproduce some of the NGII encounters that have way more enemies. *AI in NGII is , less defensive and more aggressive, easier to kill
In a game like this consistency in the frames is so much more important than the extra frames, Unless it can run at a rock solid 120 you're always going to be better off at the rock solid 60.
The 360 port is still the BEST version no doubt about it. I like this version but it's not based on NGII it's a Sigma port sadly. It's definitely an improvement over vanilla Sigma and in some respects probably a better option for a lot of players especially new comers, but if you are a die hard fan of NGII this game won't ever be the defniitive version.
Editing error: I haven't received a review code for this game to make content of it. I'm sorry for any confusion!
Awesome! Thank you for the fast test after shadow drop

yes because it's really bad in 120hz the drops in fight it's horrible its ram too much
@@cedric6503 Any 120Hz TVs these days have VRR built in.
The game looks awsome I can’t wait for Ninja Gaiden 4
The original ninja gaiden ran in 30 or 60fps? And what about the first one on the original xbox?
86 GB lmfao
what in the actual fuck is that size for a re-make-master?
4k assets
@@Abdalhakeem707 Most pointless thing in the history of things. You can compress that shit by 75% and not a single soul would notice the difference.

It took me 2 hours play it before going bed

It looks so good. NG is back.
Do you use VRR with your tests ?

Thanks xbox 🔥
It’s a Remake, not remaster
Hmm, nah. It's a remaster FOR SURE. The game is Sigma 2 re-skinned and with a few tweaks here and there.
@@gamble777888 If you remake every asset in the game, is it really a remaster?
@@idakev Yes, because the game itself is identical to Sigma 2.
@@gamble777888its not
The FSR ghosting in this game on Xbox is absolutely horrible. Everything fizzles around characters, effects and distant moving objects and text.
I was looking for this comment to make sure I wasn’t the only one noticing this
It's because of the unreal engine

It's the same on cod now has been since MW2
Is this more similar to xbox 360 or ps3 version?
Xbox 360 with a mix of ng2 sigma. The gore is like the classic though

I'm so glad to see demakes are still alive
The VRR flicker is terrible

VRR flickers too which blows
Does anyone know if they fixed the final boss?
That thing was buggy.
the game is very poorly optimized in 120 fps as soon as there is a fight the game rams and slows down it's horrible
I much prefered 60fps mode.
AMAZING 😍🤤🤤🤤

C'est complètement nul
Is it a hard game?
I would say that's fairly hard at times, yeah, but that it also depends on the difficulty you're using.
just 1080p/60 on the series x ?
better play the OG ng2
I think this new version looks much prettier than the original.

i played the remake
its not bad but the res is lowish and enemy count is like half the orignal ng2
@@laserbeam3836it's actually balanced now and the enemies are no less aggressive.
