For the switches in the beginning in the video there is a seperate workshop piece that you need to weld in that place. that was from my experience with the train tracks months ago.
Multi-player Monday idea: Stopping a train before it hits a line of bombs using just the connection tool. You could build a train that starts going whenever you press the button, and then the person inside the train has to use their connection tool to rewire the train so that it stops before hitting a line of bombs. The connections would be under the train cabin's floor, making it difficult to stop the train. It would also be cool to have multiple different trains with different solutions for certain rounds of the game (easy, medium, hard, etc).

First of all There's A Separate Peace that you can weld in the train tracks which areas to make it easier second of all if you don't want to do that you could try using Pistons to push rollers on the outside edge of one track to hold the train stable and activate certain ones depending on if you want to turn or stay straight
*tips on how to make a better SM tile* 1: trees first.. the trees should come first, so while your actual making buildings and stuff. you get more natural looking tree generation, 2: learn how to use train tracks.. i do not know how to use train track properly, but i do know the best tiles have them, 3: don’t rush.. rushing will result in a very messy tile, 4: use in game tiles for a template.. just modify them, 5: probably watch a tutorial if you need help, don’t stress about it,
I would like to see, a kind of Hollywood effects on the bridge. My idea is to putt some explosives on the back side of the bridge with sensors on the track connected to spudguns. And if the train passes the sensors you will see the whole action! xD You can put some timers too, if you have a bigger train with wagons etc.

Make a more complex version of the turning system. Using sensors, switches, locking, and a controlled bearing for turning. A switch to control the rotation of the bearing and a sensor which locks any rotational force it until it sees an opening. Plz read

Hey Scrapman a suggestion for more stable track intersection control. If you want it to be mounted on the train itself, could be to use the low friction blocks on the outside of the track mounted on a bearing between the wheels so it tips up beside the wheels when not engaged. This way the wheels will follow the curve of the tracks. If you want to stay strait at an intersection you still need to engage one of the rails to prevent moving off the line though.
For the part of the track you were having problems with ( the switching track) maybe if you have a wheel or somthing that can swing down and rest on the outside of the track that you tens to follow it will keep the inside wheel going in that direction. Then have a set of these on both side so you can choose to go left or right....right one down makes train go right.ect
Usually train tracks have a piece in them that allows trains to turn on them, this track doesn't seem to have one. Someone else in the comments also mentioned that there's a piece you need to download off of the workshop.
Multiple evolution race: Basically the same but u have ur own chains of evolution, so u modify ur creation 3 times and choose the best and modify it 3 times again New rule: you cannot test the vehicle while building, that's what the race/battle is for

Challenges for: straight, switched, forward, & reverse. Bonus points for completing the challenges with the fewest creations.
15:27 if you want to make it move on its own you can put it on a lift delete the seat back off and then place the lift again and then it will drive on its own
I think I've suggested this way back for MM Wait SOVIET GOOSE? I'll check this out then.. The opposite of 'outdated' is 'modern'.. I think I've figured out how you're supposed to use those switches. I'll explain in the Discord, since I think it's a bit complex, and is also untested. First thing I thought when I saw how you put the explosives was "Inefficient" What would have been very epic was for you to have fallen off the bridge.. What you need to do to get that is to derail the train with some of those modpack 1x3 wedges off to either side. You can use an explosive for visual effects, too.

Perhaps you need another set of wheels on the inside that's proper ground-level. That should fix the problem of the train bumping on and off the ground and making you change direction.
Well now I’ve seen this I have to request MPM train race that has some of those forks in the road that no one has to take but if you take it it can cut off a significant amount of time

That is a cool multiplayer Monday idea but you forgot the fact that everyone has to build something in a time limit
They could each build a train for everyone else to try and disable, rather than have a premade easy, medium and hard train
