I have to admit, this Tom song has entertained me more than anything he’s comes out with recently. I was getting into this little rut of, it all sounds the same. I understand where you’re coming from. I miss him using really heavy metaphors in his lyrics. To me pulling those apart is the most fun part of reacting. The last time I think we got a heavy does of metaphors was Don’t Look Down. I feel like with him focusing on these types of songs and these messages he wants to keep the messaging simple and easy to understand in order to reach as many people as possible. But I definitely feel he is at his best when dishing out heavy doses of word play and metaphors.
My mom got them as a gift for me probably 3-5 years ago or so. I think she picked them up from somewhere local. If I remember, I’ll ask her next time I talk to her.
So I had to remove a couple of chunks of commentary out of the video due to an audio issue in a couple spots. Once during the reaction and once at the end of the video. I tried to splice the section together as smoothly as possible with the good audio I had to work with... I don't think you'll hear the transition, but if it sounds kind of off in a spot that's going to be the reason why.
