North East Bike Lords - Ep 1 || Retro Revival || Featuring Café Racers of Shillong

The birth of café racers dates back to late 1950s in the streets of England. In India, the rock-driven culture of café racers is still in its nascent stage; however, many bike enthusiasts of all ages are once again trying to revive the culture through old-styled and custom-built motorcylces that exudes a retro feeling. Much like the secret ingredient of Grandma’s cookies, to each rider, his motorcycle has its own flavour and character. Café racers had never really left us, rather a new generation of riders has taken up the faith and brought back the vibe of vintage rides. Even in Meghalaya, the "Café Racers of Shillong" have successfully been able to take vintage-styled motorcycles and build them in a manner that depicts their personality -- a great combination of aura and beauty, making them a perfect escape route to freedom.
