120 Minutes would air on sunday nights, beyond that show, I dont remember MTV having any freeform format running late night. The playlist of videos got a bit more diverse past midnight however was never like crossing a threshold into a garden of earthly delights for the brave few that wanted something other than the loop of videos they played during the day. I may have missed the era when they did do that. I do agree though, it is great to have a source that can expose people to new things to try rather than just serving up "prepared meals". Or shows featuring Brett Michaels trying to find "love". Ugh
This video is a perfect representation of how dreams work. The movement, vehicles, and themes. Its hard to put into words but... like vivid dreams they are really difficult to describe and even harder to articulate, I felt that everyone involved in creating this really did a great job at bringing such an abstract concept to life.

@@havrefrasss yeah pretty much always, but I've always felt this video is on a completely different level from "surreal" music videos (such as the dream-like video for Human Behavior), because it is as a dream, in the most literal way possible.

When we were young and this music video popped up on MTV before the internet took over it was out of this world! Stuff like this korn, tool, Mary j, limp, puff daddy. Man wha5 nostalgia
I don’t know if this is just something I did but when I was frustrated with my brother we go and have a fight on the trampoline. Obviously we were holding back but it got our frustration out
I stumbles onto this while trippin on L.s.d. Bjork has a new fan for life now. I watched at least 5 or 6 different videos after that. If Bjork could have collaborated with The band Sybreed. Would have been amazingly awesome. I think she would be a fan. Love you Bjork!
I immediately bought the album when it first came out. Loved the songs on it but it is just today having watched it again that I understand the message in the video. Yes Bjork, you were spot on!
A very memorable video, it reminds me of being in my teens and having MTV on all the time. This was on a lot and I really liked it. I wouldn't say I miss or yearn for those days, but I wouldn't mind going back for a weekend.
I've gotta confess.. I knew Bjorks music when I was a lot younger but never listened to it. I swore to never listen to music my older brother did as I wanted to be cool and original. One night we stayed up late watching Tank Girl when i firat heard it properly and I remember being very much in the moment.. roll on a few years later and we stayed up late again to watch Suckerpunch and my word that first fight scene with this music in the background woke something up in me istg. Now, over ten years later, being 26, you'll see me cruising country lanes blasting this out of my bright orange mini. How times change and this masterpiece is proven to be timeless.
That video on a unintentional asmr video is the first time i ever saw her. Then pagan poetry's newly uploaded video was on my home page a few hours later! So happy I clicked on it.
OMG, I've "known of" Bjork for decades but never once listened to her music until just now. I have seriously been missing out. Like so many folks have said, she does an interesting industrial, electronica mashup that's as timeless as it gets. I was always a fan of Yoko Ono's "Art of Noise" for much the same reasons, but this is a whole different level. And here's the kicker... this girl knows her music theory because much of it is in Locrian scale. The most dissonant still yet musical scale of the diatonics, and she makes it sound effortless. Believe me it is not. It's hard as hell to write in. I'm an instant fan.
I ordered this album as a minor off one of those BMG music catalogues where they’d send you 10 CDs for a penny or something. . Then I never paid for it. Sorry Björk, but thanks for the memories. The 90s wouldn’t have been the same without you x

I won't sympathize
Anymore
And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me
And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me
You're alright
There's nothing wrong
Self-sufficience, please
And get to work
And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me
And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me
Army of me
You're on your own now
We won't save you
Your rescue squad
Is too exhausted
And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me
And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me
And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me
And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me
Army of me
Basically my boss telling me to fuking get back to work😂

Thanks for post!
good shit
Bjork is a bizarre force of nature. Like an elemental ice sprite from the polar vortex. And I love it. She's so weird and it's beautiful. This was back when she was this cute little Icelandic girl who sounded like NO ONE AND NOTHING. And even today she's almost 60 and still killing it so hard.
Yeah, that looks like the type of vehicle
Björk would drive.
Bet it doesn't get much more than 8 miles to the bum
@@cdevidal I mean it doesn’t look like it’s running on fuel. Just a clean set of teeth is all it needs
this was UNGODLY AHEAD OF ITS TIME !!!!!!!!! IT COULD DROP ANYTIME UNTIL THE END OF TIME AND IT SOUNDS NEW!!!
Bjork will release the first edible album. Mark my words.
@Mono Chrome: Ur so cool. I don't even need to know u to know that.
Either her or The Flaming Lips.
I think the flaming lips already had a gummy head
It'll be made out of seaweed.
Lol
Bjork is hot like lava. This girl right here can croon. In concert, she is right on the money in her tone, pitch, and confidence. I love me some Bjork!
Tool saw Bjork videos and said "we gotta do that!"
2nd best video ever behind Human Behavior!
Surrealism: exists
Bjork: hold my beer
Is it still surrealism if you're just recreating a dream, exactly?
@@NameNotAlreadyTaken2 aren't dreams surrealistic most of the time?
@@havrefrasss yeah pretty much always, but I've always felt this video is on a completely different level from "surreal" music videos (such as the dream-like video for Human Behavior), because it is as a dream, in the most literal way possible.
Hold my blotter.
Clichés: exist
UA-cam comments: we ain’t done with ya yet
Surrealism videos at its best 👌 loved the album debut was my first and still listen to this day thank you Bjork you're a legend 😊
If that song came out in 2040 it would still be ahead of its time.
exactly
So,you know what people in 2040 want in music 😆
@@bobloblaw2958yes
No you dont.
So when it should come to be on time?
Please Bjork, please give us and me more music videos like this. Weird, powerful, and wonderfully done.
Great! Thanks! 😊👍❤️💕
I literally love the sound of this song, Bjork you're a kick ass artist.
Bjork is so strange but I can’t get enough, she is the weird in all of us.
Timeless. Surreal. Artistic. Amazing. ❤
I have never in my life watched this official video. I thought the song in itself was perfect enough, I thought this was enough. Boy do I have a lot to catch up on. Great job Miss B! This track gives me strength. Thank you for sharing!
It’s the dawn of 2022 and this song still hits hard 🤘
Feel free to screenshot
How old is this song?
@@yoxrslxt it came out in april 1995
@@JoeBidenSucks42069 oh wow
the john bonham drum sample helps it hit hard
Does this mean an HD release of "All is Full of Love" will be possible?
One of my favorites
omg!!! yeeees!
That would be amazing
Yessss please
Actually there's a 4k version of "all is full of love" here on UA-cam.
I look back ten years, she was doing things I can hardly comprehend today.
I don't want to alarm you but this was 25 years ago.
this is the most LEAST toxic comment section ive ever seen.
Are you sure you know what the word "toxic" means?
I dunno man. There's someone in the comments who's angry because their workplace (a hospital) wants them to get a flu vaccine.
all is full of love, at least in the björk comment sections :v
@@Nick1921945 sounds like something a toxic person would say
@@MorbidMoonflower haha i saw that. still, in comparison to most videos on youtube nowadays id say this comments section is relatively tame
she's really cute
just like you
When we were young and this music video popped up on MTV before the internet took over it was out of this world! Stuff like this korn, tool, Mary j, limp, puff daddy. Man wha5 nostalgia
Really HD? 1080p? Y0U ARE AMAZING BJöRK, I never thought I will see this in such great quality! Wow!!!!
This still feels like the music of tomorrow
Yes
I literally didn't know she wasn't a recent artist until a few days ago. Her music feels so modern, even tho she made music in the 80's and 90's
I hope not😟
Locrian for you - nobody will use it to make music
@@davidkonevky7372 yeah
SO ahead of its time. Its better than most music TODAY
One of the most beautifully batshit videos ever made. Love it! Bravo, Bjork and Michel!!
Fun fact: this song is about her frustration with her little brother.
Chris Parkes cute
she must have a lot of beef with her brother cause where is the line is apparently about him as well
I can definitely relate
I don’t know if this is just something I did but when I was frustrated with my brother we go and have a fight on the trampoline. Obviously we were holding back but it got our frustration out
Oh no, my brother did something rude! Time to write a song!
Her voice is so SOOTHING!!! This is how music should sound.... we love you Bjork all the way from New Orleans!
Oh hey Locrian! You aren’t seen in very many songs…and in a pop song?! Now that’s one rare, yet badass move Bjork!
I stumbles onto this while trippin on L.s.d. Bjork has a new fan for life now. I watched at least 5 or 6 different videos after that. If Bjork could have collaborated with The band Sybreed. Would have been amazingly awesome. I think she would be a fan. Love you Bjork!
Im waiting for Bacherolette
in HD or 4k HDR 🙏🙏🙏 my dear Queen
I immediately bought the album when it first came out. Loved the songs on it but it is just today having watched it again that I understand the message in the video. Yes Bjork, you were spot on!
Ohh I see she needs giant diamonds to power her teeth truck
Oh! Well duh!!
I have always wondered the meaning , if there is one, behind that.
@@Jrizah man sometimes it seems like the lack of meaning IS the meaning
🤣🤣🤣
Well clearly. The stinking hobo who previously powered it has had enough.
First Bjork music video I’ve watched, 1.mindblown 2. How would I even summarize what just happened? 😂😂😂😂🤣
try all is full of love now
this is my favorite björk mv. simply amazing to look at.
Yees
Just so powerful, who knew it would be the song stuck ringing in my head, all I think about when hearing of Björk is this song!
This song comforts me a little bit, like I am dreaming or something. She is very surreal I love it.
Personally, I use it as an internal dialogue to fight feelings of depression and anxiety. This is my therapy
So.... This means we can see Bjork talking about her Television in 4K?
Also, you shouldn't let poets lie to you.
sometimes I hate writing poetry
All hail the Danish book!
Best way to start the day
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's like receiving a gift just for waking up!
throwing cutlery and car parts?
My first album. When I was 14 years old. Post. Amazing album. Surreal songs.
I ordered this album as a minor off one of those BMG music catalogues where they’d send you 10 CDs for a penny or something. . Then I never paid for it. Sorry Björk, but thanks for the memories. The 90s wouldn’t have been the same without you x
I was the only one in the movie theater who was excited to hear this song in "Sucker Punch"
You've must have been the only one in the theatre then
