Sounds like a great group of records. I've heard of these two but have never actually listened to their music. Of course now I really want to hear them. Thanks for the review Bradley!
Hey Randy, I was on a mission when I heard these were available. Ha! I’m not usually that OC but you know how it is. Is our winter over? I hope so! Have a great week.
The only British jazz I knowingly have with all English citizens is the Soho scene cds covering the years 1958-67. Great stuff as it features British jazz, American jazz that was popular in the clubs, and American players who went across the pond to play.
Welcome back Bradley. Another gem of a review. I'm going to give the Shades of Blue a go. It had better be good (haha, just kidding). Nice to see your return.
Great reviews Bradley - I sampled Shades of Blue and Dusk Fire here on youtube, and they sound great. I went ahead and ordered both, and will get the third and fourth when my wallet recovers. Great to see your making videos again! Bill
Thanks Bill. I’m glad you like these….I just love the music and sound of these albums. I have a hard time choosing a favorite among the first four albums. I think Dusk Fire would come out first with Shades of Blue and the Live one close behind. And Phase III is very good as well. Thanks for the comments. Have a good one!
George, I wish I had known of the box set 4 years ago. I completely missed that. But all is good now though. Ha! Time to work on your swing. Have a good one.
Good to see you Bradley. I am totally unfamilar with this label and group. Moving toward avant guarde, scary. Nice discussion about the albums and band
Don’t be afraid Grasshopper. Ha! My definition of avant is “something different” (not the squonking free jazz stuff.) I hope you are staying snow-free up there though I doubt it. Have a great week.
Thank you Bradley for showing these. Have to check them out. Have a great week
Thanks Stephen. You have a good one also!

Thank you so much! Going to check it out.
Have a wonderful one
Thanks Joey. Have a good one!
hey Bradley good to see you back, I have not been on myself, now letrs spin some records.
Sounds good Robert! I’ll get the turntable warmed up. 😃
Classic UK jazz. Nice review.
Thanks Nick!

Autumn, those Soho scene CDs sound vaguely familiar. I’ll have to check them out. Thanks for the tip! Have a good one.

Tony, Nice hearing from you also. I think you would enjoy these but I’m not offering my usual “money back guarantee.” Ha! Enjoy.

Hi Bradley. Great run of records. I don’t have any. Very interesting though. I am aware of them. Hopefully come across some.

Baseball and jazz. What could be more American than that? Thanks for this great video. Which of these albums did you have on in the background? Peace.
David, Dusk Fire was playing in the background. Jazz and baseball all the way! Have a good day!
