Awesome all these informative videos but TBH do never just try this shit without someone in the know. I didn't climb for about 10 years then hurt myself first climb out with some people cause i thought i knew better and didn't and now i don't even get a chance to climb
This isn’t very helpful for a beginner, because it seems like you’re just showing off as to how quickly you can coil a rope instead of breaking down exactly what you’re doing. To a beginner, It just looks like a blur. Yeah it’s impressive how quickly you can do it, but it doesn’t demonstrate anything terribly useful.
Why coil the rope at all? How about stuffing it into a rope bag? If you simply were to flake the rope into a rope bag instead of flaking it out on the ground before actually starting to coil your rope, you would be done before you started your demonstration.
Flat Out i use a backpacking backpack with a rope tarp that folds into a 6x6 square for packing. way more comfortable than the crag bags i’ve tried on.
Gloves are commonly used while aid climbing, and are not that uncommon (for good reasons) when doing lots of and/org long abseils. So no, not "bollocks"...
Also, just change speed setting on playback if they coil too fast for you.
CONGRATS Masters!!!!!!!!!!!! Very Interesting!!!!! CHAPEAU!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You!!!
Best Wishes.
I cant see what each Hand and what they are grasping
Excellent, thanks for share 👌✌️
Thank you so much
Nice video!
Awsome coils keep climbing.
You almost broke the speed record for the fastest rope coil ever. Your hands were quicker than my eye.
Is that a complaint?
@@drqazlop When you're doing a "how to" fast is not always helpful. Are the bites of rope being grabbed with her thumb? Or her palm?
🤣
SUPER useful thanks for sharing
I am struggling with rope, when taking off for use!
brilliant make a training video by doing it at 10x the speed of what a learner would want you to do.
Geez, if only there was a speed thingy for us to slow down the video
Fred latin Medic ...or if only there were better videos to watch.
who binde this rope on top of the mountain for climbers ????

It was all too fast.
lucky thing you can rewind 😉
And set the playback speed to quarter speed
@@erikpeterson4546 Thanks, I just discovered this feature recently. Very helpful.
a great video thanks!
What is the best way to keep my assault line from tangling. It seems no matter what I do I'm always undoing knots prior to throwing my line.
Love how he says AMJ

Are you trying to teach people how to coil rope or showing of how fast you can coil the rope? Because obviously, you can do either one or the other...
3:18, I have no idea who the hell you're doing that. I keep getting it wrong
Watch this one. In essence it’s just two loops ua-cam.com/video/dWhCgrvu9vI/v-deo.html
Zion?
👍👍👍👍
I think going through the belay loop with rope in this case, generates unnecessary friction between belay loop and the rope, which is unwanted.
rope is easier if you carry some gasoline and douse it then light it on fire. presto no more rope to carry and you get nice and warm
I thought I was the only one who did this😢. I see you homie❤❤.
You should add the title to “if you’re a newbie don’t watch this... “ the coils are nice... but it’s too fast!!! 👎🏼
tooooo fast olivia, slow down it's not a competition
Too fast for a 'how to'
very bad tutorial. You just show you coiling the rope but not how to coil the rope.
what is this a speed test dam just teach it a normal speed
Too fast !!

maybe you don't need or want to carry a pack large enough for the rope, reducing weight
Climbers don't do rope bags. Canyoneers and cavers do, but climbers, no.
Rope bag with attached tarp for cragging is the best. Climbers don't do rope bags? Nearly everyone I climb with uses roll up tarp style bags.

She said “Dale has a nice long tail” as his harness is bunching his junk all up!!
LOL!!!

Why wear gloves? More US bollocks!!
