Garrett sorry to bother you, I have a sl500 and the front bumper has a black plastic shielding on the bottom that's come loose. I don't know what the name of the clip that holds that in place is or what the plastic piece is even called. I'm trying to get it fixed up so I can put the care up for sale just don't know what part to look for.
Maybe you mean the plastic shield that fits on the bottom under the engine? It's a larger piece and is frequently removed during maintenance. I'll bet you can get new fasteners from FCP Euro. I've replaced lost fasteners with hardware from Harbor Freight but for more original type stuff, FCP Euro. Good Luck!
@@OGGarrettsGarage If I can I'll try to see if I can get a picture of it, it's attached to the plastic black panel that's above the wheels and it goes a little into the front left side of the bumper (not directly underneath it but it does seem to go into the bottome of the bumper) it's the same on the right side. I haven't seen the middle of the car I'm sure there's one there too but this one is almost directly in front of the left wheel and hangs down now under the left bumper.
