The fender rhodes with a lush chorus is the most beautiful way to hear a rhodes and indeed ANY electric piano. I grew up in the 1980s, i heard it a lot in the many ballads of the decade and always loved it
We keep a dozen of pedals and a modular with ours in the center of the house, it drones away and keep the vibe right. Great video, and choice of effects
This is so cool! I'm just now learning about using pedals for electric pianos (used to just associate them with guitars) so I really appreciate the close-up shots of the gear and you breaking down your thought process. Cheers!
This is what it's all about. A little imagination goes a long way! Btw once it is up and going does the Rhodes stay up and going or does require constant maintenance?
Cool video! Question: Trying to get my Rhodes 73 to split the signal into two pedal chains as well into my DAW, but the Rhodes doesn't put out a big signal which is my trouble spot. Do I need a booster pedal or something like your MXR Dynacomp to boost the signal before splitting it? Hosa Splitter to split the sound into stereo channel OR use one of my pedals (Strymon Blue Sky) that uses stereo out to split the chain? I have the Neve RNDI Stereo DI Box, but that seems like the last step in my chain. For recording purposes exclusively, I'm trying to figure out how to split the signal like you do. Do I need a mixer? Is the 1 Volt line out from my Fender Champ Amp enough to get back to the RNDI for a channel signal? Im confused how to set up my system to split the Rhodes Mono into a Dual Stereo channel for recording purposes and if you could help me out or offer some advice I'd be super grateful!

Could you let know what kind of speaker connect after effect pedal in you show case, guitar speaker or regular speaker ? I kind of confused which one is correct.
If you knew more about Fender Rhodes and build quality during different time periods you’d bite your tongue at such a silly comment. Best Fender Rhodes are Mark 1 from 72-74. Early Mark 2’s can be cool but are already a worse build quality and 79-81 are actually built in Mexico which is a little known fact.
Also pickups from 79-81 models are made from materials that are commonly known to short out over time, and when one goes, the entire sound stops and you have to test each pickup to determine which have failed... total pain and can be quite costly. That’s a good fact to know if you ever go to spend much money on a piano from 79-81.

That’s experimental…..what experimenting is about…….sounds interestingly beautiful……..✌️
Those last chords reminded me of a nils frahm song, so good
Athetosis Productions what a compliment!

Very nice! I love the sounds @ 3:40. So much spacey reverb yet retains that classic Rhodes sound but with new feels!
Galexy333 honestly, I’ve jammed on that riff for a very long time and it always gives me the feels
holly molly dude... @3:40
Very nice, floating "0 point energy", really nice flow🙂👌🏽❤️ thx for sharing 🙂👍🏽

Great sound in the mix!!
I love your videos, please make more than 1 a year
Hey that was dope bro. Totally inspiring
awesome vibes
Chase bliss effect pedals would sound great with this i reckon
this makes me insanely jealous
I would say you got no reason to be jealous but that’s a lie

Nice one man, sounds amazing!!!
What synthesizer do you play above the Rhodes to make the rhythms and arpeggios wave style?
Greetings from Chile
that's a microkorg
Yep, microkorg. It’s painted gold cuz it has had a very hard life
WOW! That's AWESOME!!
J3po liked this!
I like my Rhodes (Mk I) with big jam phaser
Great jams man
Inspiring stuff thank you. What purpose does the blanket on the rhodes serve?
Charlie Burns thanks for the kind words! The blanket is to protect the rhodes from being scratched by synths and pedalboards

Sounds like alesis synth from late 90s

You're dope. Thank you for sharing your experiments. Creativity 4EVA.
do you typically make the compressor first in your chain or do you ever put it at the end?
What do you think a good overdrive pedal for rhodes?
crazyFrankyy any big muff
I'd love to see you play Blade Runner eqsue music on this.
Is it cold in your house
Digiphex Electronics Yes, and I am bald
It's reminds me of AIR or BLUE STATES
Mark II are definatly as desirable as Mark 1 if not even more.

I can't hear you over the music.
You'd be a lot cooler if you lose the keebler elf miscreant hat.
Good pedals!
Terrible Audio sorry to be the bearer of bad news after all these years.
