What you forgot is that the Sony zv -e10II can change lenses, the kit lenses has a f stop of 3.5, if she used a sigma 16mm f1.4 it would blow all the cameras out of the water, kit lenses holds back the camera
@cozmothe.potato I have came down from Nikon DSLRs via Sony A6000 with Sigma 30 1.4 and 16 1.4, Sony RX100 etc to Pocket 2 and now 3. For size it is, there is no better camera on the market..
I personally have both cameras, and prefer my Sony zv- e10II because I do client work and having the bigger body and ability to change lenses gives a better image of what I do, also being able to control the aperture is what makes me go with my Sony all the time, I bought a DJI rs3mini for my Sony and it is perfect
The GoPro HERO12 Black Creator Edition Bundle looks like the best option for my use. I am however going to wait until September to purchase the system, to see what improvements will be in the new Hero 13 bundle. As always your videos are very informative, thanks!
I have the Iphone 13 Pro / Canon V10 / DJI Pocket 1 - And after watching this Video ( and a Couple of others, but mainly yours✅) I decided to Order the Go Pro 12 as I want a Rugged Camera, The others are a Bit too fragile to cary all the time in my pocket but I think the Go Pro sounds Perfect for me and the Stabilisation looks top draw
Great video comparing these four popular vlogging cameras! It's really helpful to see the strengths and weaknesses of each one all laid out in one place. All camera has some pros and cons...Well explained Mam
The ultimate vlog comparison is here. 😂 Personally the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is probably the better option for a standard casual vlog and edit later or for family videos. They're reminiscent of handycam from back in the days. The Sony is for a bit more professional on the go use case or if you want focus on more broader video production. The iPhone is better if you want a versatile, all in one recording device and if you're in the Apple Ecosystem and the GoPro is for extreme situations. Lots of use case, lots of fun device.
I took my Pocket 3 on a cruise recently. Auto mode anti-flicker did not work real well and I ended up with a lot of bad footage in the restaurants. My Pixel 8 pro was much better, but even indoors it struggles with a ton of noise. I'm thinking hard about the A6700.
@@LouisLuzuka No. I was just vlogging so I was relying on Auto settings. I filmed on the same ship last year with my ZV-E10 at 24FPS and did not have any flicker with it set to NTSC. I'm not even sure it was flicker, but that's the only thing I can think it could be. It was like horizontal lines going from bottom to top. It did not happen in natural lighting.
I've also struggled with flicker on the Pocket 3 and action cameras, even with anti-flicker mode on. Seems to depend on the type of lighting, but it was especially bad when walking around the restaurants and shops in Paris.
The Sony is way to big for me as a walk around camera, and by far the most expensive one on this list. The other three better fits my needs, I use all three for Vlogging, and they all work well. Great video, and thanks for sharing.
I don’t think the Sony should be in this grouping. Sure, you can add huge lenses and scroll through endless menus while the action passes you by, but few people are interested in that kind of camera work. The world of video is heading away from big cameras and I have a shelf full of them, just gathering dust. After many years, I now produce custom videos for my clients using a DJI Mini 4 drone, DJI Pocket 3, Canon M 50, and an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
I love your videos. In my case I d iphone and pocket 2, one great feature is that you can control the dji pocket from the phone as the insta360 but unfortunately my pocket 2 dropped on the floor and damaged the head that couldn't move anymore, and the price to fix it was expensive that I chose to get a gopro and its perfect for me because it is waterproof and resistant. I dont like to use my phone because it contains important information and when I record video the battery drains very fast.
after watching 1000s of comparison , hands down the best comparison . As i can buy only one camera and have to use it for variety of purposes for 2 years. this is the best review for me

This is a GREAT video. I have the original Sony ZV1 and the GoPro 12 and love them both. I am saving up for a pocket 3 because I think it’s cool to have a gimbal and it seems like it does really well for low light. I’m curious as to what you think of other action cameras in comparison to the GoPro like the Insta 360 Ace Pro or the DJI Action 4. Thanks for the great content, I always love your videos. :)
Your comparisons are always there when I need the exact items compared thank you! I’ve been testing ace pro, go3s since I sold my pocket 3 creator as it was quite fragile and after one accident I got paranoid and felt I needed rugged for vlog/pov shots. But also needed something for cooking, which benefits a lot from bokeh especially food. Somehow I now ended up with Action 2 w more quality and same magnetic / pov factor as go3s and a ZV-1F. Do you recommend which kit? 1) Zv1F + action 2 2) action 2 + pocket 3 again since I need mic 2 either way for cooking Asmr 😅 or 3) action 2 + iPhone 4 pro (what I have) + insta360 flow pro gimbal +mic 2?
Great video. But I'm amazed you didn't include DJI Action 4 Camera. It's supposed to be better than Go Pro. As much as I think the pocket 3 image quality is really good. I don't like the bokeh effect on the walk and talk subject, scenario. I think the action 4 does a better job in this case.
pocket 3 is the best in terms of ergonomic & ease of use for stable video. you will grab grab this more then the rest for traveling. I hardly touched my sony camera & action cam since I bought op3 since Nov 2023. And there's no doubt that many youtubers are using op3 for most of the contents.
Personally still use my Sony zv1 with small gimbal. I know it's a tight focal, no 4k 60fps, and terrible battery life. The Sony zv series is just great for travel, vlogs, b-roll. For rugged and water shots I just use the Insta360 Go3.
I was waiting patiently for the zve10 mk2 but decided given the price I'm going to get the a6700 instead for the extra features. I already have the pocket 3 and my Pixel 8 Pro as supporting cameras.
I’d rather use insta 360 ace pro it has all of the three action like camera perks plus horizon lock 360 u can choose that and basically use the camera however u want without loosing horizon leveling and also loose out on stabilized footage basically u can even put the camera on your side hip and run and it’ll be stable and horizon always leveled 360 and have sharper low light or day time footage
So, for the music industry and something that works well for social medias like instagram reels, what would you recommend to me? Expect Sony! 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
So far as I know, the DJI requires a smartphone app for first-time activation, whereas the Sony doesn't? If so, that's a disadvantage. Some people either don't have a smartphone (elderly people and those living in areas with no cellphone coverage, for example) or don't have enough available space on them.
Both the DJI cameras and GoPro require smartphones for the firmware update that you have to do before you use the camera (and to get new features in the future).
@@Gemini_Connect Yeah. It's something which has huge disadvantages if you either don't have enough space to install the app or just don't have a smartphone. If the Sony ZV-E10 doesn't require that for first-time activation, this is to its benefit.
