hey guys i go to a school for film directing and movie making (high school) and im starting up some movie making stuff and i have a new series called "nico the ninja" its a comedy/ action series i am making. The first episode isnt that good because it was made as a joke but then i started making it more seriously and i just want some more views and reviews and critiques and stuff. note: i made the first one before i started going to the school so my best editing and stuff isn't in my first one.
I figured out the problem. If you're using windows movie maker, when you finish editing it, press Ctrl + P and wait for it so publish, save. Save it somewhere you can find it easily. Then go to the youtube upload thing, and upload the video. It should take a couple of minutes. then once it's uploaded, wait for it to save or whatever
iMovie and iMovie HD are Mac only programs, If you want an editing program for windows, try getting Sony Vegas, that's better than the mac versions, just takes a little longer to install.
Thanks a million I have been trying to find someone to help me with this. I make handmade cards, etc and want to make videos to show "how to" make a card. Some of other cardmakers have a place to click to watch their video on youtube or on their blog is there a video to explain the "how to" that? Thanks again this is very helpful. Good stuff! iMovie HD is a good free "downgrade" from iLife 08. I do not like the newer version. A couple of points: #1. Make sure to check iMovie preferences and make sure that "Automatic DV Pillarboxing & Letterboxing" is turned OFF! Some school labs have the image set up with it on, and it's a pain, because after you have captured the video if you click to drag the clip into the timeline, iMovie will start letterboxing it unless you A. Save the project B. Close iMovie C. Open the project...

Hey John have you ever tried using iMovie 08 to upload a video onto UA-cam? Because using iMovie 08, you can click Share>UA-cam and it has a built in service that uploads a video you make in iMovie 08 onto UA-cam. Just a side note if you wanted to know!

My film was already available with washed out appearance . If you use ScreenFlow, then not too much and that depends on what compression you are using.

I would suggest Screenfloe if you really get into it and want to make good videos, iShowU will be good for beginers!

the second i try to edit a video either from youtube or imovie the video goes from 1080 to 240, is there any way to stop this?
