- Two 12-year-old children have become the youngest murderers since the killers of James Bulger were convicted in 1993, aged 11.
The boys, that have not been named, killed a 19-year-old man, who was a complete stranger to them, with a machete in a Wolverhampton park.
Former Met detective chief superintendent, Kevin Hurley thinks the country has stopped calling things for what they actually are, saying: "These two are monsters and they should be treated as such."
Kevin O'Sullivan thinks the two children will have had a chaotic family life but believes it is no excuse. He says: "These kids murdered in cold blood...with hardly a second thought."

Chicago Illinois 4 children under 13 charged as adults sentenced to a total of 175 years for their despicable crime of murder of a 5 year old. With their names it was easy to find their photos and families online- internet age.

Apparently, the court adjourned at 3.30 so the defendants didn’t become tired… let that sink in.
Plus the judge not wearing their wig, in order to not intimidate them.
When I did Jury Service at Crown Court, the Court adjourned every day at 330pm. Let that sink in.
The Central Criminal Court aka The Old Bailey holds court proceedings 9.55am-12.40pm
1.55-3.40pm.
The county court day normally lasts from 10.30am to 1.00pm and then again from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Occasionally, for more urgent cases, some hearings will take place at 10.00am and they can go past the 4.00pm afternoon deadline.
Probably the Judge was worried he'd miss his Gentlemen's Club opening time.

I had a woman and her son move in to a house around the corner from where i live a few years ago. I live in a fairly nice area and her kid was about 7 years old, he came to play with my daughter and the other kids and they must have had a tiff cos my daughter came running in and ran up stairs which was unusual. All the kids got on fine usually. It became clear quite quickly that there was something wrong with the kid and the mother. Her little lad knocked at my door and had a D bike lock in his hand and he told me he was gona smash my daughters head in with it and he was shaking it about. They aren't words of a 7 year old so it wouldn't surprise me if his mother told him to do it and say it. I went to see his mother and she wasn't interested in what her son had said and done and she wouldnt come to the door. Some parents just dont care and should be prosecuted if under 13.

A young girl was murdered who had just turned 14 by two 13 year old boys in Lucan in Ireland. They are the youngest in Ireland to ever be charged with murder. They have anominity for life being known only as Boy A and Boy B and will get new identities when they are released. One of the boys fathers was shouting and roaring at the judge and had to be removed from the courtroom if I remember correctly. What was worse was that Ana had been adopted from Russia at the age of two and had problems with her hearing and short term memory and poor eyesight. She was also bullied inside and outside of school so had very few friends. Denise Fergus the mother of James Bulger has expressed concern about the decision not to name Anas killers.

Here in Canada, we have the Young Offenders Act, that does exactly what is happening in the UK. Under 18, "a slap on the wrist" for criminal activity. Not named because of age - DISGUSTING - . It should be "do the crime, expect the time" regardless of age. IMO
