Weekly Wrap Up: #3, 2025 - A freezing garden, sewer issues, naturally fermented ginger soda, & more!

This week was cold, cold, cold and I spent most of it sick with some sort of nasty stomach bug that finally decided to go away on Friday. Despite that, I got the wisteria pruned, the ivy off the house, some general post-freeze clean up done and made some strides in the house.
I helped Francis reorg the hobby room, mount a one-way flow hood on the septic air vent, and we have new batches of yogurt and ginger ale going. I also have my second batch of persimmon wine hanging out in the utility room.
I think, for this week, I'm hoping to get the garden cleaned up a bit more, plant some more of the plants that arrived before the freeze, get the seedling area cleaned up, and start prepping for a bit of seed starting!
