This is how i picture me and my friends doing when we get to this age… i love it. So peaceful and stress free and just enjoying nature and each others company!
I look forward to watching you guys. I haven’t laughed so much in years. Lucy and Ethel should be worried, you’ve got them beat. Guys watch some UA-cams. Cutting Sheetrock is easier than buttering toast, you guys made it an adventure. Glad nobody lost a finger. Remember light score on front side, snap, second cut from back side, so you don’t tear up the paper.
Oh my gosh, you guys are so much fun to watch! What a couple of great friends. I love toeless Tommy and Steve the Surgeon! I love it’s so real and relaxed! Thanks for bringing us along👍
I had a good giggle at Tom’s narration of the drywall carryon! Great friends having fun and working hard. Love the T-shirt logo!! Beautifully designed. Stevie is a perfectionist! 💪💪👍👍👍👏👏👏 maybe someone should ring the neighbours and make sure they’re not missing an ear or something 😂😂😂
I’ve had the best time watching this video !!!!! If I wasn’t laughing, I was smiling !!!!! Love this channel and looking forward to the next one ☺️☺️☺️☺️
We had to clean off our land. and our oldest Son has a huge truck and he took every thing to the dump. It looks like you have to clean off your land too. God bless your family.
Good morning 🙏. Just wanted to say thank you ! I totally look forward to watching your channel each weekend 😀 😊. Your hard work is inspiring to see❤❤. Be careful and take care 🙂 ❤❤❤
This channel is an absolute hoot. You have great friends. They obviously want to help you. I have but one word of advice when cutting sheetrock. SharpBlade! 👍👍👍
Your whole project looks like a great adventure. I have a cousin just up the road in Ninilchik. He has a B&B there - the Meander In B& B. Two other cousins in North Pole and Fairbanks.
You are so very blessed to have such wonderful friends!! They work so well together and are talented too!! It was great listening to your natter. Another very enjoyable video!! Lots of work and lots of laughter! And the house is looking great too!
From the beginning to now with all you have done I can imagine what the previous owner was feeling. At least you have friends and means as well as willpower 😅 looks great you are heading for a fantastic journey.
You're off to a great start in the UA-cam world. Love the coyote machine. A little suggestion would be to make sure that you always grease all the zerk fittings. I noticed in one picture that there was no grease coming out of any of your fittings. Or gaps in the machinery. It's very important to keep those things grease so water doesn't get in and start resting all of your bearings etc. Maintenance is the key specially way up north. Keep up the great work, and I'll keep watching. Wishing you all the best and happiness.
lol @ the sheetrock being heavy, that stuff is very heavy and i can only help my hubby carry one at a time lol.. so they were doing great with two... cant wait to see how the robot turns out, i bet he will look cool!!
Good work, guys. It's looking better. You might want to check the air in the front left tire of your dozer. It looks a little low. I am looking forward to the next video.
Mistake N0#1!!!! You need piece of board up/ behind upper seam, in that smaller Drywall piece, between studs, like 3 pieces!! That way the whole edge, seam is supported, and you can screw edge in both sides to these boards !!! Now there is nothing......., you will learn,....I hope;o)
On the drywall,,,, next time pull the receptacle out of the box so the tabs aren't in the way instead of cutting around it. Two screws and you're done. Also,,,, glue it.
Great work everyone. I'm surprised you don't have a wood burner inside to burn all that wood. You can also get them with cookers and double ovens. The wood you have would keep you going for ages. Also all the wood from the forest. Or are wood burners a New Zealand thing and not used in the Northern hemisphere?
Sorry guys, simply put - you don't put corner strips on those interior corners. Thats totally unprofessional. And it looks gawdy. Either do it right or don't do it at all. Yes, im picky. Seriousely. If you tape it, then mud it right, it won't show. But dont be putting all.those corner strips in there. No one has those corner strips running up and down and across the walls both vertically and horizontally and across the ceiling throughout their house. She isn't going to like it. Neither would I. Thats where taping and mudding it professionally comes in. Nice of you guys to help out. Some of it looks okay. But if it's not what you'd have in your own home? Rule is, then don't put it inside others homes. I've installed walls, beams. cabinets, crown, baseboard, set a farm sink all by myself and trust me you want to do it right. Sorry to burst your bubble there. But don't just throw it up like that. They make corner mud trowels to get the corners as perfectly straight as you can get them. Best wishes.
This whole episode was just like watching a bunch of big kids having a great time! And I mean that in the best way.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it. 😊
It’s good to have such great friends
I wouldn't let Steve the surgeon operate on me. He identified a toggle bolt as a moly bolt. LOL. Old friends are priceless.
This is how i picture me and my friends doing when we get to this age… i love it. So peaceful and stress free and just enjoying nature and each others company!
Couldn't agree more!
That was fun to come along and see the progress and the fun you guys had doing it and on the side.
Tommy's a riot and makes a great cameraman lol.
We agree!
This has been very interesting watching you take a property I would have not touched, with all that junk and old cars. Well done.
Thanks for watching!

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the tips! 😊
It looks just like the cabin up here, only different 😂😂 love it. Throw some old cars on there, its golden 😅
😂
Fun watching friends having fun helping friends. LotZ accomplished:

Great video and awesome progress on the cabin. It's looking very nice!
Thanks 👍
When seeing the bones of your home it appears to be extremely well built. Don't know what to say about the leaks but the framing is stout. 🔨🔨🔨
I love your friends they are awesome! So cool, much love sent from Wisconsin ❤
Thanks so much ☺️
You, guys, were an absolute joy to watch!
Awesome! Thanks for watching. 😊
Watching from Australia 🇦🇺 and having a good chuckle
Thank you for the laughter 😆
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Thats what you use the leftover drywall pieces for as target materials. You can seethe splashing from the backside.
Now that was fun to watch 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻! Great work and nice to see you guys having a great time! I want to see more!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good video,it’s getting there little by little 👏👏👏
Thank you!
What a team 👏
Great job .your mates are the best very funny in places .

We love to see clean up video's so I hope you film more of the yard clean up and burning stuff!❤
Stay tuned. Yard clean up coming soon!
I like the yard art, mine could be a disco ball! Can't wait to see what she does with it.
Awesome shooting guys🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.
Your whole project looks like a great adventure. I have a cousin just up the road in Ninilchik. He has a B&B there - the Meander In B& B. Two other cousins in North Pole and Fairbanks.
You guys are such fun together. Thanks for filming this. 😊
Our pleasure!
Happy boys! 😊

Teamwork makes the dream work!!!! LOL!
Sheet rock is easy to replace although I wouldn’t have done the pipes myself and I consider myself an ok plumber lol.
Nothing like having good friends to help each other out
It's the best.

That Scooby van would be the ideal chicken coop lol
lol @ the sheetrock being heavy, that stuff is very heavy and i can only help my hubby carry one at a time lol.. so they were doing great with two... cant wait to see how the robot turns out, i bet he will look cool!!
Stevie is right to be careful with the socket hole for the drywall, I’ve had trouble patching spaces for the switch plates.
Seems like a family friendly channel.
I subscribed.

Thank you!
So enjoyed this video 😅😅 any ideas why the previous owner had so many autos?
Hoarding. Mental illness.
On the drywall,,,, next time pull the receptacle out of the box so the tabs aren't in the way instead of cutting around it. Two screws and you're done. Also,,,, glue it.
job always with guest helpers.
Are you keeping any of the old cars/vans and more importantly the old pick ups and trailers? You got a gold mine there in old iron !
Great work. Question, you don’t use insulation in that cold country?
Just an observation...Julie's robot yard art looks like he is giving us the finger! LOL!
Yeah it kinda does. 😂
Looking good
Thanks 👍
I imagine you put insulation up before you put that last 3' X 7' ceiling piece in. Unless the loft is up overhead.
House getting there. A lot of cleaning up the property , but in time it will get done ,...
Great work everyone. I'm surprised you don't have a wood burner inside to burn all that wood. You can also get them with cookers and double ovens. The wood you have would keep you going for ages. Wood stove are used by lots of people. We actually have one downstairs in the garage. 😀
um excuse me... that is not a fly reel lol If legal, I would be using a net and stocking the freezer lol WoW, thats quite the pistol !
Well done
Would it help to have separate wood and metal piles?
Probably. Good idea
You have used enough screws to drywall a whole house!
Also insulation in the outside walls or did I miss that?
How long does it take to hang 2 sheets of sheet rock the Alaskan way ????
Make sure you keep it off the floor a 1/4 inch
Tight fit. That’s what she said. 😂
😂
20:44 im terrified your going to put screws through that new plumbing. I didnt see any nail plates
What is the story on 28:46 your property and why was it abandoned?
And, Marcia, I'd love to know if there are any old photos of when it was at its best (20--30 years ago?).
Good days work, then some shooting. 😊
😀
❤😊
Why did the previous owners buy all those cars? They just let the cars sit there, and eventuality deteriorate.
Hey Steve! ...
Steve says hi!
Is the abandoned house you bought a family members or anyone you knew. Family members of the last owner might want photos at least.
We did not know the previous owner. We were able to send her several totes of her personal belongings including pictures. Our realtor helped us.
Was the river on your property?
It's just below us in the valley.
As an English woman I’ve never shot a gun but, give me a 34lb long bow and arrows I’ll bring anything down.
Is there a junk yard or recycling center anywhere near you that might take all the junked cars
Alice Rd ninilchic
I've had my own drywall business for 20yrs,people that don't know how to do drywall work, shouldn't!
