Dude.! I couldn't have said it better. They are by far my favorite knife brand. The Pallas is my fave knife I have. I really miss my harsey. Had 2 sell. I carry the enyo with one of my Spartan folding knife usually. 👍🏼🤘🏽

There are so many exciting knife designs coming out this year, especially with the increased use of MagnaCut, but also just in the designs overall.

Great vid. Really glad to see Spartan expanding their Kabar collabs - much more affordable for us mere mortals. I have a Damysus which I use as a duty fixed blade - it's worked hard and survived the past couple of years. The special editions are as incredible as ever and finally a fighting knife in Magnacut - now that's a chunk of premium grade steel right there. Glad we got a look-in as now I can start saving as I expect that fighting knife ain't going to be cheap!! Sharp blades all.

A Spartan Harsey has been my grail knife for years. I’m excited to see more affordable stuff to hold me over too. Fantastic company, fantastic knives.

"Can you really call yourself a combat knife company if you're not putting them in the hands of soldiers at a price point they can afford?" So well said, and I'm glad Spartan decided to take this approach, and remove some of the elitism that exists in the knife marking world.
I would NOT blame Spartan for the inflation we are all dealing with. It might make more sense to blame the people paying soldiers salaries.

Wish the new fixed blades came in smaller versions as well around 3 inch blades for edc would be amazing will be getting them either way !

That KaBar Prototype MagnaCut is the what we have been waiting for..!! How do we obtain that Legend.? Curtis from Spartan Blades really lay down the goodness in blade making. We trust DCA to bring that prototype into Knife Center when it's done.

Wow, what a bunch of awesome knives. I drive by the Spartan store at least once a week when I'm on the job...gonna have to take some time to stop in and see if I can grab one of those George daggers. And the Harsey Fighter. And the Nessmuk. Oh lord I'm in trouble. 😅
Lucky you. I wonder how much the Harsey Fighter and Nessmuk models are. If the pricey Harsey Difensa model (in CPM45VN) is 445$, the budget version of that, the Harsey Fighter (in 1095) should be a lot less. Did he mention the price?
@@gaberoo9099 No I didn’t hear any mention of the price on those. I gather that they are being made by Ka-Bar, so I’m assuming hopefully that they’ll be comparable to similarly constructed Ka-Bar knives but maybe just a bit more?

I like that cutlery set. Always have a fork in my work bag. This would be nice to keep in a cargo pocket. How many times have you grabbed food on the run and forget the plastic utensils.
All the time 😆 just the other night I had to eat some cheesecake with my benchmade bailout, luckily the tanto made for a nice eating platform

I love the Kabar knife but always wished that they would have made a more premium version of it, hopefully the tang is stronger too, I hope I can afford it now. Please explain its tang design if possible! Thanks
Around 4:30 you can see it rotate in dca's hand. It appears to be full tang.

Dude at spartan.. why do t you take harpy or tht zt les george with liner lock and you make it frame lock.. i think works well with spartan blade

On the K-bar in magnacut the but plate should be printed with any saying backward so when the soldiers hit someone they can read the message.
I was hoping for some existing Spartan designs at more affordable prices, but I guess I'll keep dreaming and work harder at not being so poor.

Love those kabar Spartans not sure witch one I'll grab but I'm a sucker for clip point
I’m not very hopeful about the new Spartans. I purchased a 3.25, and I LOVE the design, but mine came through with SEVERAL DEFECTS. One is that the detent ball runs in a track, which on my knife was VERY ROUGH. These knives are supposed to be among the smoothest ever. Mine was the ROUGHEST EVER! When dropping the blade, which didn’t drop easily, it felt like GRINDING in the pivot. Furthermore, the filler plate for the clip on the opposite side did not lay flat, because of a large burr on the underlying screw hole. Not a biggie (I can fix it myself), but unacceptable on a $450 knife! Both issues would have been easily detected, IF they had been inspected! It appears that this one wasn’t. The grinding cannot be repaired easily (it will need a new blade), so I had to return it. More than one significant defect on a $450 knife is a TRAVESTY. I had plans to pick up one of the large Spartan-Harsey knives, also, but now, I probably will NOT be buying another Spartan product any time soon… THEY have a quality control problem.
The entire Spartan lineup has my interest, along with the Terzuola fixed blade from MKM. So far, these are the only interesting knives at SHOT.
There were a few more than that (Boker Z28 Camaro among them) but you nailed the MKM Terzuola. Definitely one of the best of show.
Well that what you get when you say…”I will skip this one” only to find out later in a short they are working on a Super Steel KaBar! Nice!

I hope so. Excellent knife with a terrible weak point. The Cold Steel Leather Neck is a great fix.
Man, if they actually had a deep carry clip instead of the decidedly non-deep carry clip, I'd be in.

The Spartan blade booth did the same exact party fighter that they did last year and I’m so pissed because I’ve been waiting this whole time for it to come out and it still hasn’t come out and he just did the same thing he did what he gonna take another year to wait for the Spartan Harvey fighter so pissed and I try not to complain

If people can afford cable, internet, $1,000 cell phones, tobacco, booze, and other entertainment, they can afford a high-end knife. It is a matter of priorities.
WHAT IN THE WORLD!? I never give two craps about spartan knives. Too tactical and too expensive for being impractical, in my everyday life. BUT this year’s shot show vids have been “meh” EXCEPT for this one. Love the ka-bar blades. Love the carnivore set. Actually excited to make an upcoming purchase. AND, THANK YOU for emphasizing “not China”. Good man.
