Weird. On my old iPhone 7 my mic works with camera when recording videos but not with voice memos. However voice memos recording works with my ear pods.

Bro what’s weird when I call someone I can’t hear them and they can’t hear me, also when I want to send audio messages it won’t let me and even on record I can’t hear anything. Idk what’s wrong with my phone

Thank you, I couldn’t work it out. I didn’t know about the force restart, tried it didn’t work, it was connected to Bluetooth speaker, don’t know why that disabled the mic but all it was??????

My bottom mic works on phone calls but when I go to camera and film a video it sound like I’m on a bike no audio at all just whooshing sound and I think it started after I updated to iOS 17.3 plus this happens across other apps like Snapchat but when I send audio messages on WhatsApp or instagram and phone calls it works but not on iMessage and it shows wide spectrum is unavailable is this a bug for the 11 pro ?

I need help. I plugged my adaptor into my phone (which is attached to a microphone) other device or headphones option popped up and I pressed headphones by mistake, now I don’t know how to fix it 😩

I have an iphone 8 and the front microphone isn't working on the camera feature. Interestingly i t works in reels and for phone conversations. Also the voice memo feature is working. So it's just the camera ap that isn't working when i record video from the front. Any ideas?

hi so idk if this video will help but ever since i connected some cheap ass bluetooth headphones my audio for some apps and my mic hasn’t been working. i was listening to music while using the headphones while on a different app and i couldn’t hear the app after i closed both apps (i mean like after a while i was done listening to music i couldn’t hear anything from the app after i closed it),however i fixed that problem by connecting them back and reopening the apps and using them both at the same time but i ofc used the same headphones again. as for the mic i got a call once and i had the option to switch it to my speaker on my phone and that was the last time i was able to actually have a call without any sort of headphones now i can’t be heard or hear anything when trying to be in any sort of call(like i can’t use the mic for anything the voice memos app,keyboard, insta calls, etc). me and my friends tried to solve the problem but we couldn’t. first off of all i couldn’t start a facetime call because it would automatically cancel/end it. then they made the call and it would automatically kick me out, it’s hard to explain but it just wouldn’t let me into the call. but when i connected the head phone it let me in so what i did was disconnect them as i was in the call and i was able to hear everybody else but not be heard. tried the same thing with a phone call and didn’t work the same as the facetime call. let’s sayy you’re in a call and if you’re connected to something it will allow to to switch from what you want it to be heard from, i only had the option of the headphones and not the phone speaker itself. i’ve tried everything on yt and nothing works i can’t hardreset or factory reset it just yet umm is there anyway you could help btw it’s not a newer phone it a iphone 7

The microphone will not work for anything except messaging app. Google, Discord or voice memo will not pic up audio from mic…but voice to text will. Wired or wireless will also work. Would be hardware issue if it didn’t pick up audio for voice to text. Has to be software issue.

If you’re having a dictation problem, the only thing that I found that work after watching like 10 UA-cam videos was changing the language to English Canada under general, and then language and region.
I’m on iPhone 7. Every call I try to do is automatically on speaker and if they accept it fails and if I accept calls they fail. I can’t hear myself in videos, when I click the voice search on UA-cam it fails, and when I held the button it didn’t restart
I’m having the same issue with my sons iPhone 7. Any time he try’s talk to text it won’t even try to work. Siri won’t come up and I can’t even hit record on the voice memos

Not fair, why do you have to factory reset
Somebody help me. My microphone is not working if im on viber/facetime/messenger or if someone dials me, they cant hear me. But my voice record works perfectly fine.
