WTF?? No audio when driver's window is down - 2011 Chrysler 200

All the audio would stop working if the window was in any possition except all the way up. Even a slight tap of the window down button would mute the audio. One of the strangest things I have seen.
Ended up being the OEM speaker terminal had worn through the pain on the door panel and was shorting out causing the head unit to mute itself (protect). Seems like a design flaw to me.

Hmm.. I once had a 2007 Ford Expedition in... He claimed the door speaker would stop working randomly when door was open or when window was rolled down....
Turns out that when the speaker was Screwed into place it was somehow shorting.... if you unscrewed the speaker and held it, but if you put it on and screwed it in it would stop working. Speaker looked flawless.... Some kind of flaw in the speaker.

not sure if you're aware of this but the 2011 Chrysler 200 have 3 recalls on them and one of them is a wiring recall you should take your car to Chrysler I have crazy problems with mine too getting ready to take it to Chrysler to the other two have to do with the steering column and the air bags so I would definitely look into it if you Google recalls on a 2011 Chrysler 200 and you'll see what I'm talking about
