Sounds like the victim was sad it passed away and then angry because someone disturbed it's sleep by moving the object. Then it wanted it's presence to be known by your friends. After that, the spirit wanted to be returned to it's original place, untouched. And it now wants to take it's anger out on your friends or anyone else who disturbs it's slumber.
I was also thinking it's a sad human spirit. That's exactly how I would react if someone disturbed my peace in death. I don't really know what to think about the growling part though.
That gurney ain't just haunted; it's cursed. My advice: burn it. Whatever's attached to it is *not* friendly or neutral and is very much malicious. Either find someone who knows how to dispose of this kind of thing or do a LOT of research on how to do so and stay safe and ritually burn the thing. Do not pass go, do not collect $200 and CERTAINLY do not let any local ghost hunters interact with it. Kill it with fire, bye-bye, adios cursed gurney and whatever nasty spirit hanging out in there.
Yeah I definitely agree with you there a friend of a friend ended up with a haunted rocking chair she got from a garage sale and just seeing it move with no reason for it move in the middle of the night freak her out she call some friends and they told her get it out of the house right now so she got and put it in the front yard and they came by the next day and broke it down and burned it and she was concerned it was going to attach it’s self to something else in the house if it remained there longer no problems after she got rid of it though
In a hearse, on Friday 13th, under a full moon, with a haunted gurney as it nears midnight... ... recipe for disaster.

omg I love these paranormal storytime videos!!! They're my favorite! This one was so freaky, I don't even wanna think about how I would've reacted if I were in that car with the demon. Just the fact that the shadow figure was not only making sounds and attempting to interact with them, but it also leaned closer and tried to reach out to her.... Yeah, it's a no from me!
Soon as you said the gurney was vibrating I got chills on my face all the way down to my arm

I've been waiting so long for a new scary story!! Specifically a TRUE scary story!!
I wonder what it is/was. My first thought was an unhappy, sad *human spirit, nothing dangerous just spooky as all Hell. Then you said it started growling and I immediately switched to, "Oh, hell nah!" I'm wondering what the heck it is. I don't really think it was that bad, but I don't fuck with growling things and it didn't seem as not-dangerous after the growling part!
I imagined the two of them jumping and flying out of the car like it was gonna explode, lol! I'm happy they were able to beat the clock!
That was once again a great spooky story!

Would holy water or an exorcism have gotten rid of whatever was haunting the gurney or would that have made the entity haunting the gurney in this story angry? and do exorcisms and holy water actually work on things of a supernatural nature or is that stuff that only works in movies and comics? I ask these questions out of a slight fascination with the supernatural I just want to know the facts of what's real and what's not.

Listening to this while cleaning. Lit a nice smelling candle and a fly flew straight into it. Kept burning a bit of it's wings as it tried to escape until it tumbled next to one of the flames and became a crispy corpse.

i was out of work for an entire month with covid, it was rough.
This is gonna sound odd , weird , creepy and even stuiped but hear me out.
If your friends are willing to and are turly terrified of the gurney I'd be more then happy to take it off their hands, I can even pay for shipping.

Their medium friend did them DIRTY. She gave them stuff to protect themselves and then told them to stop when they actually used it??? That's messed up.
I can understand not wanting unexpected visitors because of what they were doing, but she really really should have helped them at that point because clearly she's aware that whatever they're dealing with is dangerous.
What if somebody knew it was in there and laid on it in a body bag to freak her out. I mean it's funny, but you can't do that going seventy down the highway 😂 edit: you are a good story teller.
Why would the psychic friend tell then to stop if it turns out to be nefarious ? Shouldn't the psychic friend help them make a stand?

I know it’s not great. I won’t have this issue in the future. Unfortunately with this illness I’m rather fatigued and couldn’t get my normal mic setup pulled out because it’s a process to set up. I didn’t realize the alternate one I used was having issues until I sat down to edit 😩
